Yes, Republican as a Delaware resident, and I'm still not sure how the most important two positions were filled by Dems when most were voting straight Republican tickets. Every office that was filled EXCEPT those two went to Republicans.
I always vote local and in Presidential elections as well have since the age of 18 and I'm currently 70. I believe if you care you vote if you just complain and don't vote you have no voice just keep quiet.
If they get rid of the requirement to serve on jury duty, many, many more people will vote. I did not vote for some time because of that. I could not afford to lose several days pay.
@December 6, 2018 at 12:22 AM. You are absolutely right. We did hit the lottery when Trump was put in office by, WE the people. And will again in 2020.

That's something to think about. Maybe they should draw the jurors from the drivers' license list in each state.
It is that easy especially when it happens once every two years - considering local, state, congressional and Presidential elections.
ReplyDeleteAND you can even plan ahead because major elections take place the 1st tues in Nov!

You must not have been paying attention when the Republican BOE Candidate lost by 1 (ONE) vote. Then he asked for a recount and he won by one vote.
Tell me again how your vote doesn't count.
