Stanford University told the Sigma Chi fraternity to remove its American flag to “improve” its image. An administrator reportedly told the fraternity that the flag could be seen as “intimidating, aggressive or alienating.”
According to a report from the Stanford Review, an unnamed administrator told the Sigma Chi fraternity that their American flag was a symbol that could be seen as “intimidating, aggressive or alienating.”
The fraternity was actually shut down in May after the university argued that there were accountability issues with the chapter. The alleged incident with the unnamed administrator took place as the members of the chapter were looking to prevent a suspension.

DeleteIn response to the criticism that the United States flag was a trigger to those easily triggered, the fraternity took the 3x5 foot flag down....and put up a 4x6 foot flag!

Across the campus is a Muslim house and they are allowed to fly an ISIS flag.
ReplyDeleteCollege said it is their Culture and not a political statement, as the US flag can be saying "No foreigners welcome".
ReplyDeletePerhaps since Stanford's feelings are so easily bruised by sight of the American flag we should discontinue sending Federal dollars there; they are chock full of American symbols.

Maybe if we would grow some b____s and stand up for what is right in this country and what it was founded on we wouldn't be in this situation. If you don't like our country or our flag I think the roads have a 2 way lane. Please leave !
