It's true, they are.
Instead of calling kids parents at 5:30am to let them know there is a two hour delay which means school won't be start for another 5 hours why not have the recorded fog message at 5:30am say it's foggy outside so we are letting you know that you should be leaving for school an hour earlier. Drive slow and carefully. DUH!!
