Squash??? Is pumpkin considered a squash?? If not, then never, ever have I seen squash as a side dish at thanksgiving. WFT?

8:27 AM, you've never seen butternut squash with Thanksgiving. I have many times and its delicious.
For generations (I'm 72) Sauerkraut was always on our Thanksgiving table. I think it may be a Baltimore thing.
The person who developed this is obviously secretly working for the National Squash Council.

I think we're all missing the point here. How is bread a side dish? Bread is bread, not a side dish. Come on people.
