Hi Joe.
Voted at Fruitland Primary around 11:45 they were waiting in line in the hall and around the corner where you go. When we got there our neighbors were ahead of us in line and when they got to the first desk they were given a hard time, since they could not find them on the computer. They showed them their ID / Drivers License. They spoke to a couple of people but in the end they were refused the opportunity to vote. I know they are eligible and at the right place because they have voted there the same times we did for the last 10 years. What is Wicomico County doing refusing someone the opportunity to vote? Wicomico appears to be interfering in the elections. What are they trying to do fix the results. Appears to be another Democratic trick. How can we believe the results?
Did they leave and go to the board of elections office? I would have
ReplyDeleteA person or persons cannot vote unless their name is on the voter registration period. Obviously it's quite frustrating however things happen like this. The election board did their job refusing them to vote now it's time for those people to figure out why. I suggest going to the election board to investigate why this happened. Hopefully they've already done so given the opportunity to vote.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me in 2016. I had moved earlier that year and went to Bateman St. to change my address. They sent me my new voter I.D. card to my new address. When I went to vote, they gave me the same runaround. They didn't want to see my new card or my corrected license. However, I was allowed to vote, but only after speaking with the head honcho at WCCBoE on the phone. They had me at an address on another side of town. She blamed it on the USPS? If I had been a registered DEM, I'm sure that I would have been given carte blanche... #VOTERED
ReplyDeleteThey should have been able to fill out a provisional ballot. These are for people who think they are eligible to vote and are counted when it is determined the person is registered and eligible to vote.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the election judge on site???
ReplyDeleteThey may not have been registered any more. Welcome to Georgia!
ReplyDeleteIf what you describe is correct and complete, they should have been allowed to vote a 'provisional' ballot-- they would later have to be verified as eligible and properly registered before the ballot would be counted.
ReplyDeleteI'd want to hear the other side of the story in this situation, to believe it.
ReplyDeleteAnyone could post this.
Dems cannot win on their own policies anymore so they have to confuse to manipulate voters. The latest scheme is sending out mailers encouraging all voters to vote for Libertarians to reduce number of votes for Republicans. They are so pathetic. I'd be embarrassed to be linked to the Democratic Party of today. It won't surprise me if some of the problems being experienced with voting will be somehow tied to Democrats.
ReplyDeleteimmigrants would probably gone right through
ReplyDeleteBallot scanner went down at Asbury around 2-330
ReplyDeleteThey should have been guided to vote with an alternate ballot, I forget what they are called, but that situation should have been covered on the spot.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Let me tell you another issue that happens every time i vote.
ReplyDeleteThey ask my name i say it.
They ask for by birth date i show them
my license. Ok
They ask for my address. I say its on there.
He says “ you have to say it”
I say “ no i dont”
Result. Thank you here is your stuff go over there.
I vote and go home.
Every time. They crap themselves because i refuse to announce my personal info in an unsecure area and choose to use my ID.
SMH. A bunch of morons.
We have protocols that should be adhered to, and because we cannot asked for your ID or DL, we have to ask your name, address and month/day of birth. Sometimes the check-in judge cannot understand the voter as to the spelling of their name and most times the voter present their ID.
DeleteI find it really interesting that NHK the Asian channel broadcasted by PBS has reported the following as of 8:26 PM
ReplyDeleteIn the Senate projections show Republicans have secured 42 seats while Democrats secured 32 of the 100 seats.. In the house Republicans secured 16 seats while the Democrats secured 17
Wonder how they have come to this conclusion so early,
6:15 Believe it or not I was there right behind them and they talked to 3 people. One was on the phone and they were taken to another table while she was on the phone and they left before I finished voting and when I saw them later they were very mad so I didn't talk to them any more at that time. So believe me or not it is the truth. They have voted in every election in the last 10 years at the same place and was there the same time I was. So if they had to re-register why didn't I have to? Facts are facts.
ReplyDelete"We are not able to find your name here?" might just be their polite way of saying "Someone else already used your name to vote once, and since we don't check IDs, we'll never know who committed fraud."
ReplyDeleteAs a chief judge for over 25 years, if you can't find the person by their name on the pollbooks, you check by address, then by statewide. If you can't find them after that, you call the election office and ask them for help. They are always very helpful.
ReplyDeleteIt's already fixed anyway. Paying people to run against people to have a "race"
ReplyDeleteAll the things that has happened over the last few days are not a error. Don't trust the results. There is nothing "we the people will able to do about it"
I didn't half to show anything to them they ask me my name address dob that's all at the ward
ReplyDeleteMillions died to give you the right to complain.Have at it.
ReplyDeleteLetter to the Editor
ReplyDeleteJoe this needs to get out there and this is the God's honest truth.
When my neighbor and I got to the polls at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center to vote during Early Voting we knew many of the people standing out front. Several were running for office so we spent about an hour out there talking before going inside to vote. While talking we noticed a lot of minorities coming up in droves and in groups of 5 and six which we thought was quite odd since most Caucasians were coming up in singles or in couples.
Then when we went inside to vote we were standing there talking while in line. Then we heard this group of minorities behind us telling their group that they had been to Easton and Dorchester County to vote and now they are here at the Civic Center. Then someone else in the group stated they had been to Pocomoke and Princess Anne to vote before coming to the Civic Center. It was obvious that this group was part of a concerted effort to commit voter fraud. I'm not sure that they knew what they were doing or they just didn't care because they acted as if it was normal.
This is how they are trying to put Socialists in office.
9:21 may have a valid point....
