Sen Spartacus: Whether Kavanaugh Is ‘Innocent or Guilty,’ Let’s ‘Move Onto Another Candidate’

Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.) said Tuesday that "whether he is innocent or guilty," it is time to "move on" from Brett Kavanaugh to another Supreme Court nominee.

"Ultimately – not whether he is innocent or guilty, this is not a trial – have enough questions have been raised that we should not move on to another candidate?" Booker asked, before saying, "Move on to another candidate."

Booker, speaking during a press conference on Capitol Hill, said "partisan rancor" aside, Kavanaugh is not the right person for the Supreme Court.

"So my hope is," he said, "beyond the vicious partisan rancor that is going on, beyond the accusations, we don't lose sight of what this moral moment is about in this country. And ultimately, we ask ourselves the question, is this the right person to sit on the highest court in the land for a lifetime appointment?"

  1. Is that the benchmark now, how many questions can be raised? If that were true, Booker would be out of a job and we'd all be "moving on".

  2. How is Booker still serving after openly admit he is / was a sex abuser? He should resign with no benefits. He is not judging himself the way he is criticizing Kavanaugh / others. Boy is he a "SPARTACUS hypocrite along with a lot of other "bullying" Demcratics.

  3. Yo Stupidicus, partisan rancor is the only reason Judge Kavanaugh is not qualified this time...he was qualified the last two times he went before a similar panel.....

  4. Booker no more deserves to be a senator than my dog does. He is one despicable human being without scruples and he's up there judging others. He has absolutely no business talking about or questioning anyone. Go take a long look in the mirror Booker And....what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

I got one better. Whether or Not Booker thinks of himself as Spartacus, and Lies So Much, let's replace him with another candidate for Senate. Fire this bum and Make Jersey Great Again!

  8. Let's hope the self styled Spartacus is available for bit parts in crowd scenes in Hollyweird productions after his next election.

    What a tool!

  9. well by Booker's standards. Regardless if he is guilty lets replace him with another representative in the Senate for NJ. We need that to happen immediately.

  12. Booker is so disrespectful. He would not stop talking even when he was out of time. He walked out of the committee refusing to listen to other senators as a protest. He broke senate rules when he released protected documents in his Spartacus moment. (Later we learned the documents were already released, but Booker didn't even know it. Nonetheless his intent was to break senate rules.)

Booker is entertaining because he believes he is the smartest man in the room.
