Comptroller Franchot will visit Worcester County on Monday, beginning at Ocean City Elementary School, where he will speak about the importance of financial literacy at the school's Junior Achievement Leadership Day. Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore is a nonprofit that provides financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills free to schools.
Later, the Comptroller will walk along Berlin's Main Street with Mayor Gee Williams. The tour will begin at Rayne's Reef, a historic diner and soda fountain, with stops at The Treasure Chest jewelry store, Victorian Charm gift boutique and ending at Viking Tree Trading Company.
