MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio - Authorities are sending out a warning to parents about a new drug known as 'strawberry quick.'
According to authorities, the drug is a type of crystal meth that looks like strawberry pop rocks and smells like strawberry. Students are getting the drug thinking it's candy and then being rushed to the hospital, authorities say.
The drug also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.
Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are telling parents to remind their kids not to take candy that looks like the picture they provided. If they see any such 'candy,' they should tell their teachers or principals right away.

The grape flavor is the best.
ReplyDeleteYou always hear these SHOCKING stories about drugs being slipped in stuff and given to kids. No one who buys crystal meth and disguises it as chewable vitamins is going to go hand it out to children for free. I have no doubt a couple kids got poisoned taking mommy's stash by accident but anyone dealing in meth is out to turn a profit.
The devil works in mysterious ways. And to the meth head who commented about grape, get help before you loose all your teeth
