Baltimore Police Department puts 230 desk officers on streets as murders mount

The Baltimore Police Department announced it will deploy 230 desk officers to the streets after 11 people were shot and three of them killed in just 24 hours on Tuesday.

Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday, Interim Commissioner Gary Tuggle said all hands are on deck in wake of the horrifically fast-rising murder toll in Maryland.

He announced that the department will shut down administration operations at police headquarters and 230 officers assigned to administrative duties will go on patrol, putting a total of 650 officers on the streets.

  2. It's about time! What took so long to figure out that pushing paper doesn't deter crime.
Another Democrat run city that can't find it's way out of a wet paper bag.

Wait. Didn't the Democratic Mayor of Baltimore tell Police to "Stand Down and Give the Criminals Room to Roam". Oh Well, here is the direct result of that policy - 11 shot, 3 dead in 24 hours. And Cops are afraid of Attorney Mosby suing them again, so they are not even trying to stop the crime. Crooked Mayor will be blaming the Guns and NRA again. Democ-rats never take responsibility for their failed policies, they always blaming someone else. This is what you get when Voting Democ-rats. And the Brainwashed Sheeple keep on cheering. SMH

  6. Murders committed by blacks on blacks. But that's ok. As long as it isn't a white doing it. They murder each other EVERY SINGLE DAY, but when on the RARE occasion a white does it, they have a hissy fit. Can't understand such ignorance.
