ReplyDeleteThe appearance of a home often changes when it has been through a fire. The fire hoses laying across the lawn make the place look junky also don't you think? 2:06 if this horror happens to you, could you send a photo to SBYNews so we can judge the looks of your once beautiful home?
DeleteMs Morris - so sorry about your home, - with support of your family, your friends, even strangers and God you will be okay/ They all will help you through this.
During this incident Parsonsburg requested Engine Tanker 1-1 to respond and standby at the Parsonsburg Fire Department to hand any of their calls in case they came in while they were at the Pittsville fire.
ReplyDeleteJay Jester, the paid fire captain that hates volunteers got on the air after about 5 minutes and told Central that Engine Tanker 1-1 was out of service and that they wouldn't be responding.
The funny thing is while Wicomico County 911 did their nightly radio notifications of equipment placed Out of Service Engine Tanker 1-1 wasn't out of service then. It's well known that Salisbury's paid fireman don't like doing Standbys at Hillbilly volunteer fire stations in the county. They are much better than that, in their own minds.
By the way, James L. Jester is the same idiot that hates paid Firefighter/Paramedics in Ocean City where he is a volunteer, but he hates volunteer firemen in Salisbury and Wicomimico County where he is a paid fireman.
Another thing, James L. Jester has never been in a real fire in Salisbury. He is always the last one to get geared up and get into the building. He also has never been the primary caregiver in the back of an ambulance because he hates the "gutbucket" and hates the people he is paid to serve and protect even though he is an EMT. He kissed so much a$$ to get promoted so that he didn't have to be on the ambulance or mask up for a fire. Coward a$$ Pu$$y!
County Executive Culver should deduct that refusal to respond from the Fire Service Agreement.
The fire industry must be the most disgruntled people on the shore, for sure. I don't follow the mess, but it seems like anytime a company is mentioned they all pile on. Not saying their commentary is correct or incorrect because I'm not familiar with the issues, but there is no lack of it. Don't these people have to depend on one another for safety or backup? Please enlighten me, I'm not knocking anyone, just wonder what the heck goes on inside or outside their house. Please excuse my ignorance, just a set of eyes on the outside looking at what is posted. Or a little that's posted, I have to admit I don't read deep into the post before stopping.
ReplyDeleteHaha...paid firefighters here think they are something special...maybe catch a working fire once a week. Try going to PG County and riding for a weekend. They wouldn't last...
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect from a bunch of guys that play with hoses all day.
