  1. Confused. Why is HE posting this? What’s HE got to do with it?

  4. My grand daughter has been teaching in Wicomico Co 18 years. This event has been going on at least that long. Wonder why the public is just taking notice. For you anti-teacher hooligans the teachers, are required to report to their schools the week before your little darlings rerturn. Their whole summer off amounted to June 19 to Aug 26., part of which my grand daughter took a required class. Before you begin your rant on the easy life of a teacher, I will ask why you were not smart enough to choose that profession..

  5. Isn’t this the kind of slight of hand narrative manipulation the Communist Chinese and Russians use? Propaganda? Make attendance at the meeting, parade, convention mandatory then tout the attendance as a success for the leaderships ideals. On another note, what the heck are these people teaching children today?

  7. WCBOE Superintendent Donna Hanlin has been inviting Jake Day to attend or speak at many Board of Education events.

She must be very confused thinking that Jake Day and the City of Salisbury funds the Board of Education because they don't.

  8. Yes, the kick-off was mandatory. So what! The BOE employees were getting paid for this time. They should have been there! Jake Day was there as well other local government officials.

  9. It is mandatory attendance to get everyone employed together just prior to the beginning of the school year. All present are on the clock and being paid. Kind of a pep-rally. There is a considerable amount of good news to share about last year's accomplishments at the various schools.

State, county and smaller jurisdiction politicians/office holders are invited and get a mention if they're present. Jake even scrounged up a tie this year.
