Opposition to Kavanaugh Is Failing Because It's Meritless

The American people have had a chance this week to hear directly from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in what might be the longest nomination hearing in Supreme Court history.

For more than 32 hours, Kavanaugh has sat before the TV lights of the Senate Judiciary Committee, fielding questions from our 21-member panel.

By any measure, his testimony was outstanding.

In the face of a coordinated effort by opponents to derail the hearing, Kavanaugh was unflappable, showcasing his deep understanding of case law and legal precedent, his judicial independence, and his unwavering fidelity to the Constitution.

His straightforward, patient, and articulate responses to questions outshined a steady stream of outbursts and interruptions that I have not witnessed in the 14 other Supreme Court nomination hearings that I have attended.

  1. Instead of the freak parades we see so common today with the gays in thongs and pink blue and green hair, or The patchouli wafting matted haired broomstick skirted free-spirits sleeved with dingy ink we should put families like this on floats. Theses are Americans with values we should all aspire to. Can you imagine that parade? LOL Seersucker and gabardine suits, young women in dresses, boys in coats and ties, women with hats and elbow length white gloves, etc, etc. Libs would have a hemmorage and throw tomato’s, probably wouldn’t even approve the permit.

    2. It's all relative to what you believe is a freak or not. Why do you care so much about what makes other people happy? No one tells you what to do within the confines of your double wide

  2. I was very impressed with Kavanaugh's temperament, patience, and obvious and formidable knowledge of the law. I was asked if I would like him if he was a democrat; I reminded the person asking that Kavanaugh was apolitical as a supreme court nominee but I was impressed either way. This guy belongs on the bench...period.
