A police officer in Cincinnati who used his Taser on an 11-year-old girl suspected of shoplifting was also caught on camera telling her “this is why there’s no grocery stores in the black community.”
Officer Kevin Brown, 55, is facing punishment ranging from counseling to termination for the Aug. 6 tasing of the girl, who is black, at a Kroger supermarket where she had been suspected of using her backpack to steal items, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
“You know, sweetheart, this is why there’s no grocery stores in the black community,” Brown told the girl, according to bodycam footage.
Brown violated four policies during the incident, including that his comment constituted prejudice and that he didn’t warn the girl about deploying his Taser, according to a use-of-force report.
Brown, who is also black, insisted to investigators that his remark was backed up by statistics and claimed he wasn’t biased in any way.

Really smart move stealing is fine and the police can't arrest a person for stealing without following a laundry list of crap. It makes no difference what the officer said or did she still robbed a store. That's why there's not many stores in black communities.
ReplyDeleteThe truth hurts.
ReplyDeleteSo he is in trouble for speaking the truth? Smh
ReplyDeleteLittle kids do steal. That is a fact. When Mom is at the registered, these kids are artistically and meticulously stealing right in front of other shoppers eyes. Their eyes tell us, I dare you to say a word. And, most adults don't say one word or just mind their own business. I witness an event just like this. I stood there and watch three out of four kids place candy in their pocket while the mother was at the cashier. The fourth child was a look out person. The oldest child thief approximately 9 years of age gave permission to her two younger siblings to put candy in their pockets while giving me that look with her eyes. I stood straight up and return with the real OG eye communication look that said, I'm gonna wipe that azz look my Mommie use to threaten me with. That little pretender OG child thief angrily force her siblings to put the candy they were attempting to steal quietly back on the shelf without words, disruption or threats. She kept her angry silent eyes on me. No words were expressed. Mom and her four kids exit the community store without incident. When I left the store, Mom was backing out of the parking lot, the children were all seatbelt safely in the vehicle. However, the young nine year old OG pretender continue to look at me with such disdain as she continue to ride away with her unbeknownst mother. However and without saying a word, I gave her the hand sign from my chest into the air, I love you. Her facial expression change and she turned away from me. Sometimes, silent love is all these children need. Not tasers, guns, violence, fear, loud fussing and cussing. Just love. That police officers needs to be terminated.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore, we don't need non black owned grocery stores in our community anyway. If these stores were in community, everything would be OVERLY price, just like the television dish and cable, internet, water and sewage and utilities bills. All Overly priced in the Black communities.
ReplyDelete1:22 but these big stores have to be better then the little almost all Asian or Middle Eastern owned ones that are prevalent in Black communities. They charge for one roll of toilet paper what a 4 pack would cost in a regular grocery store.
ReplyDeleteWar zone pricing.
ReplyDeleteWhy would he get fired for telling the truth?

Are you talking about your kids or black kids because my kids don't steal.
I totally agree
ReplyDeleteWhy was he wrong for speaking the truth? I mean he is black and knows who the real problem actors are.
ReplyDelete@ September 8. 2018 at 1:22 PM. Oh, give us a damn break. Stop with the lies already. You know damn well if that was true you would be raising hell about it. Man, all the time with the lies.
ReplyDelete@September 8, 2018 at 10:24PM. You knw who he is talking about. I've seen the same thing myself. But the mother DOES know what they are doing. There is no way they would do it where momma can catch them if they know they will get their azz beat for doing it. Momma knows they will not get arrested because they are children. She will just tell the manager she will deal with it when they get home and not one damn thing will happen. Except get scolded for getting caught. Maybe you have not caught yours yet.
