Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver Announces Modifications to the Fruitland Convenience Center

Salisbury, MD... The work is completed at the Fruitland Convenience Center (Walnut Tree Road). The modifications relocated the recycle bins outside the locked fence area which now gives the public 24/7 access to recycling in the southern central part of the County. The site is equipped with safety lighting and surveillance cameras to discourage illegal dumping.

This revised location is the County's response to losing the Fruitland Town Hall location approximately 1 ½ years ago and more recently the Salisbury University location.

    Thank you Bob for making this a reality unlike the bs we get from Mayor about Main Street construction completion dates... You get things done without an agenda...

    It's a great improvement to the location...Now with the extra room at the site maybe a brush drop off area and vegetable oil drum.
