Brief Urges DC Circuit to Vacate and Reverse FCC’s Illegal Rollback of Net Neutrality
BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today joined a new brief in the lawsuit to block the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) illegal rollback of net neutrality, urging the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to vacate and reverse the FCC’s order. Attorney General Frosh is part of a coalition of 23 Attorneys General that filed suit earlier this year.
“The plan to kill net neutrality will hurt consumers and businesses across Maryland,” said Attorney General Frosh. “The FCC’s proposal to turn control of Internet access over to special interests will also jeopardize free speech.”

I think this idiot Frosh has it backwards.
ReplyDeleteThe Obama era implementation of "Net Neutrality" was implemented illegally.
There is absolutely NOTHING neutral about this FCC rule.
Hogan another waste of MD tax dollars while you continually screw over retired State employees. I will still vote for Santa Clause. You have proven to be a great Democrat.
ReplyDeleteFrosh joined the lawsuit, not Hogan. wah wah wah, I'm a state employee not getting the full health benefits I deserve. Guess what idiot, we all were screwed by the high cost of Obamacare.
DeleteThere is no free speech on the internet. Was never meant to be. It's commerce.
ReplyDeleteVote Wolf take him out
ReplyDeleteWould be great if Frosh would focus on MARYLAND issues instead of constant Trump bashing and stupid legal filings....but the Dumbocrat that he is can't help it...the Communist State of Maryland strikes again...and yes--retired (and current)employees are screwed over...
ReplyDelete"Special Interests" means private companies and entrepreneurs working hard to improve your online experience without giving in to government control.
ReplyDeleteName a government controlled entity that is profitable and user friendly while being affordable.
Frosh needs to go.
ReplyDeleteMore frothing from the AG; anything to grab some ink.
Anyone opposed to net neutrality flat out just does not understand how the internet works. The only way to ensure a free market on the internet is to have net neutrality.
ReplyDeleteWe have given control to the wolves. ... ISP's with a wink and a smile said "you can trust us not to act unethically... you don't have to legislate that we do"...
You know.. Comcast, Time Warner... all those cable companies that have terrible service, packages no one wants, ever increasing prices without added value, throttling speeds for no reason.... the list could go on.
I state again ... if you are opposed to net neutrality, then you don't understand it.
Net neutrality is the equivalent of requiring motor fuel retailer to sell all grades of gasoline at the same price per gallon.
