Anybody who thinks a coaches job is to be tough on kids, shouldn't be involved with kids. Children should be encouraged, not belittled and chastised in front of their team mates (what coaches call being tough). Anyone that thinks otherwise is a backwoods, uneducated heathen, and we have plenty of them around here.
This from coaches in Little League who pick and choose what kids are going to be in All Star game and who goes to Williamsport based solely on who their parents are. I know this to be true because the coach of my ex-girlfriends sons team walked out of a meeting that was picking the All Star players, because they were picking them based on who their parents were and not on their skills. He said he was disgusted by it and vowed not to coach another team. This was here in Salisbury, MD.
While this looks Photoshopped, the point is clear. I agree 100%
