Police in North Carolina say a man handcuffed in the back of a patrol cruiser managed to escape by getting into the front seat and driving away.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a news release that officers were searching Dontray Antonio Pharr's vehicle when he escaped on Tuesday shortly after 4pm.
The 20-year-old managed to move the handcuffs from behind his back to his front before squeezing through the vehicle's window and driving off.
Police said a 'very small' interior window was left open to allow air conditioning to reach Pharr in the car.

Time to put some wire mesh in the window?
ReplyDeleteThey better take my keys when they arrest me. I always carry a handcuff key on my key ring. You know, just in case I need it when she won't let me go, after our "games."
