At approximately 5:30 am, the Salisbury Fire Department responded to the 600 Block of Douglas Road for a fire involving a personal watercraft (Yamaha jet ski) on a trailer in the roadway. The fire was extinguished by fire department personnel and placed under control within 5 minutes. The fire was reported to 911 by a passerby. Damages were estimated to be approximately $1,500.00.
During the Origin and Cause investigation it was determined that Flowers intentionally burnt the items by using an ignitable liquid and illegal fireworks. The jet ski and trailer were identified as not being the personal property of Flowers.
Flowers has been charged with 2nd Degree Arson and Malicious Burning 1st Degree. He was seen by a Wicomico County District Court Commissioner and released on his own recognizance.

DeleteHere is a story on a guy who is the Pool Chairman for his Home Owners Association. He asked a woman who he didn't know or recognize if she lived in the neighborhood and what her address is with an ID. The woman automatically calls racism and videotapes it. The New York Post picks up the story and labels it as white man calls police on black family for using the pool. WTH! Can't the man even do his job?? It is now at 4.5 million views on her FB page and thousands of shares.

Then I find out from a post that the guy has been fired over this and his boss apologizes to the black woman. Since when can you legally fire an employee because you want to feel politically correct. Look at the video, the guy is calm and collective and never once does he act racist. The woman created a scene and vidotaped the whole incident just to post on FB to make herself look good. She is the one that was really acting racist. All she had to do was show her ID and I'm sure the gentleman would have said thank you and apologized. He was on the HOA board and the pool chairman. His job is to make sure everyone using the pool is a resident of the HOA. He didn't know her and automatically it is racism. Only a white man can be racist this day and age. Shame on this mans employer! Shame on the weak who took sides with this racist woman. I hope he sues his employer and gets a large settlement.

$1500 is probably pretty accurate. That jetski looks like it's about 30 years old. If you tried to sell that thing you'd be lucky to get $500.

Unless he was asking everyone else in there how many guests they had and for their ID he WAS targeting and harrassing her. If there was some history of this woman causing problems I could understand it but she has every right to go and relax at the pool without some guy who thinks "pool chairman" comes with a badge.

No, he wasn't harassing her. It was his job to make sure she was a homeowner and had the right to be at that pool. He didn't know her and neither did other homeowners. He wasn't even nasty, she was.

Why is he rightfully unemployed? Because he was doing his duty to ask someone if they lived there?
Hopefully you will rightfully become unemployed some day soon.
That thing was parked in the travel lane with 2 flat tires on the 28th when I was in that road doing some work. I wondered why it was still there the next day, but it was there till the 5th? 9 days in the travel lane?
