But Don't Fire A Black Woman For Expressing Her First Amendment Rights...

Not that I condone or support Rosanne's comments in any way, shape or form, it was absolutely out of line. However, there are many things said, Richard Prior, Rappers, Eddie Murphy and the list goes on and on and NOTHING was done to stop it. Heck, they keep running reruns of All In The Family. Do you remember M*A*S*H the movie and spearchucker? Blazing Saddles!

Look at Pete Rose. The man has incredible records. He made an error in life and has been banned from the Hall of Fame for life.

Yes, we have to curb such language and hate BUT we don't need corporate America or our Government crushing our First Amendment selectively. If you watch The View and see their every day bashing you have to think, how can they get away with such hate and attacks, yet they're still on the air.

We as Americans need to simply STOP watching/supporting the very shows and music we do not agree with. It really is that simple. If Rosanne wants to act like a complete a-hole and you don't like it, stop watching. I certainly do not watch The View, do you?

  1. Big difference, Whoopi Goldberg is not a multimedia company. Does one make the other right? Or should we do the right thing regardless of those around us? All to common people today sink to the lows of their surroundings.

  2. ABC is a company that made a decision for the future of their business. Get over it snowflake.

  3. This should be seen as a threat to the President of the United States and the secret service should arrest her and charge as such. If any white conservative did this same thing, you can bet we'd be investigated/questioned at the very least. The double standards in this country are getting ridiculous all in the name of political correctness and not wanted to offend certain people. Well I for one am offended by all this BS. Some races can make all kinds of vile, offending jokes and comments about other races and nothing is said other than it's their first amendment freedom. But as soon as it goes the opposite way, all hell breaks lose and people lose their jobs, are sued, etc. This crap has got to stop. Tom Goslee

  4. somewhat like the ill behaved NFL players. They are on company time when they misbehave. My company wouldn’t tolerate displays at the workplace that were so aggressions. The real problem is the double standard.

  5. I agree with TOM. Political correctness is a communist ideal designed to reshape our thinking to a twisted satanic leftest idealogy. All others thoughts are evil and vile. They Trying to turn the tables of their imoral behavior on good people. Hypocrite much lefties?

  6. It will not change so the best thing to do is just ignore them and vote for the true conservatives

  7. Fake outrage. If the jokes were pointed at the Obamas or Clintons ya'll would be yuckin it up right now.

This partisan nonsense is what is the problem.

  8. A spineless decision by ABC. They should have admonished Roseanne for making such a tasteless joke, accepted her apology, and issued a statement telling everyone it was meant as a joke, so get over it. We can't allow the leftist David Hogg types to continue to win all these skirmishes. There would be a lot of negative publicity from the MSM, but I'm willing to bet that ABC would ultimately be rewarded for their decision.

Besides, the truth is The Muslim Brotherhood are Sunnis. VJ is Persian Shiite.

  9. 8:26 well said, it's just like the "professional" sports thugs, black idiots making a lot of money and not smart enough to handle it....the ABC chick, black with a little authority inserts her right to say what is racists when the "The View" continues to spew nothing but racists remarks on air while being paid by ABC! NO RACISM HERE....RIGHT!

  10. ANYTHING to get attention.

  11. 8:17 I don't see much of a difference at all. They both work for network television: Rosanne has her own show and Whoopie has her own left-wing themed talk show, The View.
Both of their comments seem off color to the non-tolerant environment we live in today. However, Rosanne doesn't seem to incite violence toward the POTUS.
So, maybe there is a difference after all.
Really, the real difference is our media is run by left-leaning, non-tolerant people that use any nuance of racism or perceived language that seems disagreeable to them requires a knee-jerk reaction.

  12. We have allowed the blacks to dictate what we can do and say for many years now , my idea is this NAACP "National Association For The Advancement of Caucasian People". Is that racist , of course not !

  13. The media promotes racism because it helps them in elections

  14. Whoopie needs some darn tube socks and a pair of suspenders to hold those drooping things up! Roseanne's comment applies here also! LOL

  15. What Roseann wrote and said was wrong. But so is what Whoopie wore and is smiling. The View should also be off the air and she also should feel the heat of what the public thinks.

  16. My feeling is this: Roseanne is first and foremost a comedian. Always has been. She has never been a public speaker, anchor, analyst, politician, or even actor for that matter. Other than her own show, has only been in a few other movies or shows. She is a comedian. Same as Whoopie. None of this should matter. She is not making a statement of fact, simply being the comedian that brought her fame in the first place. Why the outrage? No other comedians, or even public figures have faced such outrage. Is this political? Of course. This is an effort to control your every thought. Your every belief. I believe she should sue, as exercising her first amendment rights have just been punished to the fullest.

  17. What in carnation does Pete Rose have to do with this ?!

  18. Like him or not that is not funny. He is the President and Commander in Chief. Would she walk around with Lincoln's or Kennedy's skull blown open ? I can imagine the outrage if I had a shirt with MLK in a puddle of blood and it said AMEN! Things are getting ridiculous and disrespectful. Liberals and Conservatives both are going to activate all the sleeping moderates of both parties if they are not careful with present extremes. All the media does in fan the flames of division. If we want to make America Great again we need to find some common ground and some civilized respect for each other and a path out of this chaos.

  20. When the comparisons begin it's already too late.Whatever happened to the buck stops here mentality? Each of us must be held accountable for our actions and comments without searching for double standards.

  21. Photoshopped. That's not the shirt she wore to that event. And y'all fell for it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If a white person wore a shirt like Whoopie's, they'd be arrested and considered to have made a threat to the POTUS' life. I, too, am fed up. Roseanne was out of line, and so was Whoopie. Fire them both. Kids get sent home or suspended from school for wearing inappropriate t-shirts, but it's OK for public figures? I think not! Take a stand, for God's sake! Wrong is wrong. And, to the NFL players, take your "knee" in the unemployment line. Personal political opinions do not belong in the workplace (on or off the field). All of this is just plain disrespect and it is unacceptable. Pretty simple.
