The weapons policy of Santa Fe High School in Texas makes clear that no firearms, imitation firearms, BB guns, or ammunition is allowed on campus.
The Substitute Teacher Handbook says, “Employees, visitors, and students, including those with a license to carry a handgun, are prohibited from bringing firearms, illegal knives, or other weapons onto school premises or any grounds or building where a school-sponsored activity takes place.”

this all happened in one classroom, so i heard.
ReplyDeleteHow would 1 armed teacher have prevented it? He probably shot him/her first.
I'm not against arming teachers/school personnel, but it's a bad argument for this incident.
What we need is to be able to express our opinions openly about people we thing are 3 fries short of a Happy Meal without being accused of slander. We all know people who are little 'off' but it's not Kosher to tell others you think that person is a little whacked. I'm sure there are people who thought this kid was capable of these actions but felt ashamed to say anything.
See something, - damn it - say something.
That “see something say something” propaganda is crap! You know why? When people do say something the person saying it is labeled a racist or told to mind your own business. Then if the cops or school officials finally get off their rear ends it’s not dealt with, it’s swept under the rug or passed off as nothing. The kids get NO discipline. Kids destroying school property, doing drugs, selling drugs on school property, walking around high as hell. You read about the fights, or at least the ones they let you hear about. These kids get NOTHING! Just ask any teacher in wicomico county, the system is broken and will never be fixed soon enough thanks to all this PC crap!
DeleteBAM!
ReplyDeleteOh great. Then no one in the school can be hurt because they have a rule against guns, ammo, etc. Why didn't everyone figure that out? That school is full of morons.
