Hillary: Michelle Obama ‘So Right’—Voters Don’t Like ‘Professionally Successful’ Women

Hillary Clinton said on Monday in New Zealand that former First Lady Michelle Obama was “so right” over the weekend when she blasted women for not electing Clinton and said female politicians are held to a higher standard than men.

“The more professionally successful we are, the less people like us,” Clinton said. “Historically, people like me when I’m serving a supporting role… But the minute a women, at least in our country, stands up and says ‘I’d like a chance to lead’… everything changes.”

Clinton told the Auckland audience that “a few days ago Michelle Obama pointed out the consequences of holding women to impossibly high standards.”

“I think she’s so right,” Clinton said. “This is something we have to explore, understand and change.”

Over the weekend, Obama also said she hoped women could fail up as much as men after emphasizing that she was “concerned” that more women voters did not vote for Clinton.

“In light of this last election, I’m concerned about us, as women, and what we think about ourselves and about each other,” Obama reportedly said at the United State of Women summit in California. “What is going on in our heads where we let that happen. So I do wonder what are young girls dreaming about, if we’re still there?”

Obama continued, “When the most qualified person running was a woman and look what we did instead, I mean, that says something about where we are, if we as women are still suspicious of one another, if we still have this crazy, crazy bar that we don’t have for men … if we’re not comfortable with the notion that a woman could be our president, compared to what?”

  5. LOL Like either of those 2 are "professionally successful." Both are nothing but slave skanks to men. They obey men without question. Both lie and cover for men. The only reason clinton was selected for secretary of state is because obama knew he could control her and she would listen because she is nothing but an all obeying slave to men. And just like the obama wife she didn't disappoint. She lied and covered up for him just like she did that perv cigar inserter she's married to. The only thing more gross then those 2 is the garbage that idolized them. You idolize a liar and you are a worthless piece of garbage and not worthy to breath the same air as the women of the GOP.

    1. Thank you. Could not have said it better.

  6. Both need to put a pink vulva hat on their heads and walk off a short pier. It would be no loss. Professional or successful doesn't not describe either. Lying low class controlled by men is more like it.

  7. Thank God there were enough people that realized what would happen if Killery was elected. Her whole life is based on lies and deceit. A disbared lawyer just like both obamas.

  8. To separate "Women" from "Men", Hillary immediately created a division of the Common People, failing to realize that there are women among us that want certain things as well as men who strive for certain things. By setting us up as assumed enemy forces that we are not, never considered us to be, and wish not for the future, she alienated both sides, therefore losing the election.
Not to mention the "Deplorables" comment, that sent 40% more of us to the polls!

    DUH, Hillary.

    You lost.

    Eat it.

  10. They are both professional failures! Both had to forfeit their law license or face prosecution! So they went into politics. They are just good scammers.

  11. Neither of these women can be considered 'professionally successful' in a classic sense.

Hillary failed the DC bar exam; was fired from the Watergate investigation staff and moved to Arkansas with draft-dodging Bill, who was a protege of Sen. Fulbright. Bill got elected as Atty. General and Governor, and surprise, surprise Hillary got made a partner at Rose Law, turned into a successful commodity speculator (trades made for her and other investors screwed so she could profit), and got a seat on Wal-Mart's board. Why? Her husband had powerful political positions.

Now to Michelle: Daughter of Chicago Dem. ward official, admitted to Princeton two years behind her brother who was their big basketball star, and the to Harvard Law. Hired into a Dem law firm after her 1988 graduation she gave up her law license five years later. Various assertions have been made as to why; bottom line, young, just married Harvard lawyers with no kids don't abandon their credential because it costs a couple hundred a year to maintain the license. Doesn't pass the smell test. But she did get a $300k job after Obama made senator. So not much professional success on her own merits here as well.

Summary: both these gals hitched their wagons to brighter stars. Know many successful women who have crafted their own accomplishments; Hillary and Moochie aren't in that club.

  13. I see one very nasty woman in this story, that would be Hillary, and one wannabe woman, that would be Michael, I mean Mochelle. Neither one of them worth a hill of beans.

  14. Voters don't like professional women??

I thought she got the majority of voters.

  15. Michelle said Hillary was the most qualified person to run for president. Never understood that. How did living in the white house where her husband was president make her qualified? Women didnt vote for Hillary because she never put forth a plan or vision for the county. I hope these two keep talking, every time they say something I decide to vote for anyone but a Democrat. What will their excuse be when Chelsea manning loses.

  16. Both have done nothing with their lives except allow themselves to yes be nothing more then slaves to men and allowed men to drag them around by their noses. While bill was using a cigar on another woman and after multiple affairs and even violently raping a woman hillary being nothing but a skank lying slave to bill lied and covered for him and even victimized his victims more by trying to demonized them The only thing worse then hillary are the women of the democrat party. They are the scum of the earth and are just as rank and putrid and worthless as she is. They are piss poor examples as humans and all who are mothers are horrid mothers. and if they deny they are failures as mothers they are only lying. Good mothers don't support liars like hillary.

  17. Men don't run for office and say "vote for me because I am a man," and it's absurd and sexist for any woman to say "vote for me because I am a woman." These two women practice the politics of dividing America, for their own political gain. American voters are not as stupid as these women treat us. That's why their criticisms of American (yes AMERICAN) women and men are not accepted by American voters. They are astonished that the politics Obama employed, don't work for them. Obama was an experiment to see if American blacks had advanced enough to produce a capable presidential candidate. My perspective, in hindsight, is the experiment failed, and our country, and more importantly, race relations, has been set back by 50 years by this failed experiment giving a black man title to the highest office in the land. Obama squandered the greatest opportunity to move the black race forward in this country. Hillary and Michele continue to try and divide us. America will never prosper unless we are united (United States, remember?) and yet these two women continue to try and divide us. They need to leave the stage, but the media keeps giving them a platform for their politics of division, hate, and intolerance for any other opinion other than the ones they propose. They are as anti-American as they get, and most voters know it. Give up Hillary, you were right, "they" were never going to let you be president, and "we" never will.
