Chick-fil-A In Salisbury

Shannon Moore Webster 8 hrs · Salisbury, MD

Today I contacted Chic Fil-a north salisbury about getting food platters for Steve Ray's family.. When Shane Webster and I went in to pick them up, I was told no cost, it was on them and to give their condolences to the family it was the least they could do. I want to say thank you very much to the manger/ owner and team for such a kind gesture.. we greatly appreciate your kindness ..

  1. Truly a great business! You see why a business such as this is such a huge success across the nation! It's not a free admission or some gimmick to get people in the door then jack up prices on low end foods, take note West Ocean City here is a prime example of HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS!

  2. People really have no idea what good Christian people they are I’m not saying there are good people that are not Christians All I’m saying is what A good testimony they give. The Gibsons are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet they’ve been very blessed with the business that they receive there at that Chick-fil-A and the others that they own. Rest a sure they did not do that to get any kind of attention I know for a fact three separate events that happen but they gave food for as well as money there only request was to please leave everything anonymous. I’m so glad people make it a point to thank people and to show people that there really are still good caring people in the world . There’s always a lot of negative news in the world this day and age and we read about it a lot but thank you also Joe for posting this on your website and hopefully some hearts got to smile when they read this

  5. We have a Stand Down for our Veterans here in Salisbury each year. These people always give food cards to be given to our less fortunate Veterans. They are good people setting a good example.

  7. Class organization at ALL levels. The liberals hate Chik-fil-a, and they are more popular then ever. Businesses with morals, values, and Christian values we ALWAYS succeed. No surprise at their act of kindness.

  8. @9:08 AM.

Not meaning to sully what is a great act of kindness... but they did this because they are good people.

The "Christian" part is rather irrelevant, as you said so yourself.

People do good or bad thing irrespective of their faith system.

Saying someone is a "good Christian person" doesn't really say anything about that person. It's a useless expression, I wish people would stop using it.

  9. The Gibsons and all of their staff are such high quality people. Go into a McDonalds or other fast food restaurant and see if you get the same kind of smile and good service from them. If you do, it is very few and far between. Love Chris and Rob!

  10. Thank you Chick-Fil-A. Your organization understands the sacrifices that this young man has made for his country and for our community. It will be my honor to continue my support of this fine establishment. Kudos to you and your staff!

  12. Such a great thing to do for a grieving family and community....I go there at least once or twice a week and never once have I ever been greeted by any employee that didn't have a sincere smile .....very much appreciated.

  13. @9:54 - except that is an apt description. Chik-Fil-A advertises on its adherence to Christianity, to the point of closing on Sundays. This isn't someone who does the right thing and people are ascribing Christianity onto the person or the act, this is describing the people and the act in the manner the company wants to be known.

  14. @954 The Bible says when Jesus washes your sin away He makes you a Saint so therefore it is proper to use good christian

  15. Acts of kindness are a hallmark of this company and the owners. Will always support them!

  16. @9:54 its because of their Christian Faith, upbringing and belief that they ARE good people! I think you have it a tad backwards. Its offensive to me that you wish people would stop using that term.

  18. I had the pleasure of teaching several of their (the gibsons) children. Some of the nicest, hardest working kids I have ever taught. They have always been this way.

    You are right.

    More to the point:

The name Christian is NOT an adjective.
It is a person who knows the truth.
Non-Christians are people who don’t know yet.

  22. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

  23. Why do people think that adding on " Christian" to a person or places description makes it better? Not everyone subscribes to the delusional drivel that is modern Christianity..Anyone else would be committed for talking to invisible friends and allowing the influence of such people to dictate their lives.
