After 'Roseanne,' conservatives ask why Joy Reid is still at NBC

Conservatives on social media reacted to ABC's cancellation of "Roseanne" on Tuesday by questioning why liberal commentator Joy Reid is still employed by NBC, even after some anti-gay comments surfaced on her old personal blog.

The right-leaning Reagan Batallion blog tweeted, "Reminder: @JoyAnnReid still has a job at @MSNBC."

"ABC wrong to cancel Roseanne after she apologized for her comment — why the double standard from Joy Reid?" conservative journalist Jack Posobiec wrote on Twitter.

Online provocateur Mike Cernovich sarcastically asked, "Did Joy Reid find those hackers yet?," a reference to Reid's excuse that web hackers were responsible for the comments on her blog.

  5. Selective outrage and that is the problem. You are either a moral person or you aren't. There isn't any in between. Being hateful towards blacks is just as bad as being hateful toward anyone. This is why racism is to be dismissed as nonexistent and being called a racist is a meaningless joke. No such thing as racism because when everything is racist nothing is and when only selective things are hateful nothing is either. Jarrett is a repulsive looking human being. If calling her a cross between the Planet of the Apes and the muslim brotherhood is racist they that proves once again being called a racist means you told the truth and democrats hate the truth because they all lie constantly. Jarrett has not ever and will not ever contribute anything positive to society. The only thing she excels at is lying. Anyone who defends her proves they are a liar and a poor excuse for a human being themselves.

  6. A tool to divide us. There is clearly a double standard...that’s when inequity and intolerance flourish.

  7. I found it interesting that Eisner had her phone number and called her up to discuss the matter in private. How revealing.

  8. Grow a pair and the Deplorables would reward you, ABC!

The problem is that the MSM let liberals like David Hogg consistently win all these little skirmishes, whilst seizing any opportunity to shut down those with flyover points of view.

They excuse all things liberal and punish all things conservative. We need to push back.

Nothing at all unusual about that.

Of course, he would. You don't know much about that man, do you? He was a self-promoter. If anyone didn't like that or went against that grain they were not around long. He may have portrayed his company as goody-two-shoes but he was treacherous.
