Villanova has won its second men's basketball championship in three years, crushing Michigan in the N.C.A.A. title game
Juggernauts are not supposed to look like this, without a superstar, a catchy nickname, a lineup of future N.B.A. all-stars, or the air of intimidation and moxie that is palpable even in layup lines. Villanova has none of these things.
But it has maintained a tactical, almost apologetic dominance throughout this N.C.A.A. tournament.
