PUBLIC NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION

The Salisbury City Council will convene at 6:00 p.m. for the regularly scheduled Legislative Session on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Council Chambers (Room #301) of the Government Office Building. The public is invited to attend. 

At approximately 7:00 p.m., Council will entertain a vote to convene in a Closed Session to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; or any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals, in accordance with the Annotated Code of Maryland §3‐305(b)(1). 

The public can observe the motion, discussion and vote to convene in Closed Session.

Times shown are approximate. Council reserves the right to adjust the agenda as circumstances warrant. The Council reserves the right to convene in Closed Session as permitted under the Annotated Code of Maryland 3‐305(b).

  1. They are going to discuss the deficit that has all the departments money frozen but they don’t want the public to know they’ve overspent the citizens money and wasted it

  5. Maybe Mayor has finally wised up and will come through on his campaign promise and get rid of Barbs. That will be one of the only ways he will be re-elected since SFD Chief finally left.

  6. Eliminate ALL duplicate department heads!! No need for 3 city administrator, no need for 2 public works director. Its a blatant waste of taxpayer money.
