Democrats are predicting a blue wave will take the House of Representatives in November. They've been predicting this ever since big Democratic wins in Virginia last year. However, the party has seemingly bet the farm on hopes of impeaching President Donald Trump -- and that's a losing idea among voters, who are finally seeing through the madness and media narratives.
According to a Marist Poll released earlier this week: "A plurality of registered voters (47%) say they would definitely vote against a candidate for Congress who wants to impeach the president. 42% would definitely vote for a candidate who has that intent, and 10% are unsure."
Roughly 30 percent of Democrats would either vote against such a candidate or aren't sure. While 70 percent still makes it a popular idea among Democrats, the real battle is in the general election -- where impeachment doesn't look good.
Marist reports: "Among Republicans, 84% would not back a candidate seeking to impeach President Trump. A plurality of independents (47%) say the same."
