Poll: Border Patrol Agents Want Wall

U.S. Border Patrol agents overwhelmingly support a "wall system" along the border with Mexico, according to a new survey from the National Border Patrol Council.

According to the poll, which was shared with The Washington Times, the vast majority of agents support a "wall system in strategic locations."

89 percent think a wall system is necessary;
7 percent disagree.
95 percent blame the government's failure to hold illegal immigrants awaiting deportation for illegal border crossings.

This poll contradicts the results of a report from Democrats on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which stated that agents would prefer additional personnel and technology instead of additional fencing on the border.

  1. I for one am sick and tired of the idiots who right and transmit this crud. Either you are stupid or are absolutely negligent in using your platform. The survey does NOT contradict anything. You can't ask about a "wall system in strategic locations" then say that contradicts a survey that asked about personnel/technology vs fencing. Let me slow it down for you. Most informed individuals would say that a wall system includes a mix of technology/personnel/fencing/full blown wall depending on the strategic location.

  2. If the Dems thought the illegals coming into America were voting for Republicans the wall would start being built tonight.
