  2. 6:15am, I think they are alluding to the fact that the house hasn't been owned for too long (7 months) and payments on $550,000 would be quite a bit, perhaps the new owners are in over their head and struggling to make the payments. An influx of insurance money would certainly help.

    And/or they don't like the front porch and this is a way to have remodel paid for.

    I'm sure if the first is true, a quick investigation would figure that out. It seems "criminals" aren't very smart, so wouldn't surprise me. By the way, I looked these folks up on Maryland Judiciary and they didn't have any previous delinquencies.

  3. 8:38 How do you know what the payments are or if there are any. Some people pay cash for houses.
