A caravan of 1,500 people funneling through Mexico towards the U.S. border have released a list of demands that President Trump is expected to comply with, including unfettered access to the United States.
Pueblo sin Fronteras, the political outreach group who organized the caravan, released a press statement for the United States, Mexico, and their respective Central American governments.
“We demand of the Mexico and the United States: that they respect our rights as refugees and our right to dignified work to be able to support our families,” the statements reads.
The second demand is “that they open the borders to us because we are as much citizens as the people of the countries where we are and/or travel.”

As an invading army of foreigners, can we shoot them!?
ReplyDeleteClose the borders and withdraw all foreign aide from the countries they are coming from. They are not citizens of any other country than the ones they left. They want to leave instead of staying in their country and try to improve their country. They only want to come to the US to get all the tax payer money free. They then attempt to change the US customs to the customs from where they come from. SEND THEM BACK ASAP.
ReplyDeleteThis garbage has to be stopped, with bullets if need be!!
ReplyDeleteThis is typical of the political climate nowadays. 1,500 frindge extremists do something bizarre and it makes front page news and the centralists are asked to take some kind of stand on the "event". It's 1,500 unarmed non-citizens being tracked by news and border patrol. Just stop them, it's your job. I pay you to do this job with my taxes. If border patrol screws up and 1,500 migrants cross the Rio Grande it's not anything that doesn't happen every day. This should not be considered some major event and making it one only benefits the extremists on both sides.
ReplyDeleteYou are lawbreakers. Trump should deal with you.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a cold spring, looks like there are snowflakes as far south as Mexico.
ReplyDeleteIf they step one foot across the border, shoot to kill.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what they demand AFTER they get here.
ReplyDeleteLet them in, then round them up, put them in one guarded place. Give them work at minimum wage, take them to work, pick them up after work, ask their boss if they are good workers. If they are not, send them back. I guarantee in less then 3 months the 1500 will be down to less than 100. Let them ones that made it that far apply for citizenship. They would be the ones that really want a better life and not a free handout.
