BREAKING NEWS: A Viewer Writes: Lower Shore Shelter about to close
The Lower Shore Shelter, the new homeless shelter that opened in Princess Anne in December is about to close down. Due to mismanagement, general incompetence, and arrogance on the part of the board members, the shelter is out of money. The state is all over it about unapproved expenses, high salaries and other problems. The state dumped about a million dollars into building it and the county has been pouring money into keeping it alive. Another stellar example of the stupidity. They are already looking to move homeless people at that shelter to other shelters as soon as possible. There is no money to pay employees.
Does this surprise anyone? Princess Anne is the hole in Maryland that keeps getting larger. The most crooked town on the eastern shore , the police , the lawyers , the judges . I call it the Widowson twon .
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha 10:18.....aren't you the brilliant one???? town not twon....ha ha ha
ReplyDelete11:58- look out for the spelling Nazi!
DeleteEasy trigger. That is a typo not the usual inability to spell or use the correct words.
ReplyDeleteI went to see Little Big Twon in concert.
ReplyDeleteThe town is supported entirely by govt money...Shelters, College, jail, section 8 housing.. As long as our tax money is thrown at them they will continue on the same path. But take heart, Salisbury is headed down that path too.
ReplyDeleteThat's sums up every non profit around.
ReplyDeleteLiberals on the shore need to step up and take a few of the homeless into their homes. Give them shelter, clothes, food, and money. This would be so much better than wanting a few illegals to come over the border.
ReplyDeleteFollow the money. If it was misapporperated lock someone up. It's that simple.
ReplyDeleteExactly 9:36 PM. That is precisely what needs to happen.
