  9. I remember when he first ran he praised himself as a budget whiz who was gravely concerned about our financial future. The 2009 budget was the largest in US history with $1.4 trillion and we're expecting 1/5 trillion by 2028. So he basically created our largest deficits and then quit.

  11. Paul Ryan isn't the 'squeeky clean' guy he presents himself to be. Hopefully it will be exposed soon.

  12. Paul Ryan now enjoys the peace of mind that when he turns 50—in less than two years—he will enjoy a defined-benefits pension of about $79k annually for the rest of his life, funded by the same taxpayers whose Social Security he's been trying to cut or privatize his entire career.

  13. Maybe we will never know his real reason for jumping ship but I hope it is as he said,,,,to spend more time with his children. And the quicker he gets out of this mess the less muck he will have on him.

  14. 11:48 that level of complacency with legislators that perform as poorly as Ryan are the reason the middle class will remain the doormat of America. Too rich for help, too poor for a voice in politics. It's about time our legislators lived with the laws they make for us.
