I didn't like her. Arrogant and privileged. Never forget the quote she made: The former first lady made the following remark on national television shortly before the commencement of the invasion of Iraq:
‘Why should we hear about body bags and deaths? It’s not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?’
The comment came about during a Good Morning America interview with the couple who were formerly President and First Lady, George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush. The interview was conducted by Diane Sawyer in Houston scant hours before the couple’s son, President George W. Bush, delivered a televised ultimatum to Saddam Hussein to step down from power and leave Iraq or face U.S.-led military action. The chat with the senior Bushes aired the following morning, 18 March 2003
My brother in law was in sent to fight there. I dislike her and the whole Bush family.
758 You didn't watch the entire interview obviously. The statement was taken totally out of context From the interview. She gave millions of dollars in donations to the returning injured military. You are judging a persons life of almost 9 decades by a sentence? Really? Meh, not me!
@758 the comment was about PRE WAR MEDIA SPECULATION during a threeway conversation. Democrats jumped on it and trolls circulate it.. otherwise known as FAKE NEWS. Troll every Morning simply to cause conflict, congrats you got me on this one. Lol.
