Democrats Crack Down On Sleeping At Capitol

Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) members are aiming to crack down on lawmakers who sleep in their offices in the Capitol, calling the practice “unsanitary.”

Members of the CBC argued that lawmakers sleeping in their offices represented an abuse of taxpayer funds in a letter requesting an investigation by the House Ethics Committee, as reported by Politico.

“There’s something unsanitary about bringing people to your office who are talking about public policy where you spent the night, and that’s unhealthy, unsanitary — and some people would say it’s almost nasty,” Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, the top Democrat on the Homeland Security Committee, told Politico.

  1. Build them a no-frills barracks and charge them a nominal sum each month. 120 square feet should do it.
Make it like a Red Roof Inn motel room.

  3. Something the democrats started years ago. Enormous sleeping quarters within walking distance and Billy Boy had to take his prey in our Oval Area. Pure nasty trash.

  8. Since they are all crooks build a replica of a Prison where it has a 10x10 with double bunks. They have to share a room with another Politian. They have shower and bathroom they all have to share. If they want their Family to live in DC then they have to personally pay for that luxury, not from tax payer funds. That is all they deserve. They also have to pay their own transportation cost to and from.
