ReplyDeleteThis is funny. Salinas is a resort city that has nice condos on the oceanfront block for the rich people in Ecuador and one block over is lined with tin shack huts in the rest of the city. Perfect sister city for Salisbury. Lipstick on a pig.

Who gives a shit about the homeless, they are homeless by choice. I care about how much in taxes I have to pay. Each dollar is less food I have to feed my children. We are already overtaxed in property taxes and water and sewer. Please, Lord, we need someone with the strength to take these clowns out of office.

ReplyDeleteI see the Father Mayors signed this six months ago. Has either City filed their first report yet? We citizens need to know how well our new secret venture is progressing.
I hate Salisbury more and more every day just because of people like Jake Day, that Tilghman woman, the Rehoboth dude, and on and on and on. The Dumbocrat way of thinking is destroying everyone and everything.

ReplyDeleteYou better care about the homeless. If you don't have enough money to feed your children you could be next. Not all homeless want to be that way. All it takes is one little illness, a car repair, or even needing a new appliance and they find they can't pay the rent/mortgage.
@11:09 IF they choose to visit?? His whole intention in this decision is to arrange a city funded trip to "Ecuador". It will be interesting what excuse he uses this time to allow his butt buddy Stevenson to go. He took half the cities management to see "first hand" how the national folk festival operated. What kind of input can the "director of public works field operations" get from a third world city like Salinas? I mean realistically Stevenson Salisbury has already managed the art of draining its sewage treatment facility into local waterways

You and me both. When Barrie Tilgman became Mare it just got worse and worse. Then Jim Ireton who we thought and backed would change Salisbury for the better. He turned his back on everyone of his friends that supported him and then jumped in bed with the enemy. Louweasel Smith, Bubba Comegys, Lore Chambers, John Pick, etc. He immediately told everyone he was going to name a street after Barrie Tilghman the moment he got sworn in as Mare. Then along comes Jake Day with a free ride as Mare with no contender. Then he immediately ruins Historic Downtown Salisbury by doing a "Study" which changes everything Historic about downtown Salisbury. Ever since then nothing has gotten better. As a matter of fact, it has gotten worse. That little Boi who has never had a real job in his life is spending money like it is someone else's. Typical Democrat way. Hires people in unneeded positions such as Andy Kitzrow, Alison Pulcher, Caroline O'Hare and many others. Hires or promotes people for positions they are not qualified for such as Julia Glanz as City Administrator and Eric Cramer as the new "Fire Marshal."
Jake Day has to go!

Yeah, what happened to Salisbury England? I think they all read Joes Blog and then visited Salisbury MD and realized all the bad things were true and then bailed out.

I tell you what, you care about them for me. I have a job with benefits and if something happens I am covered. I'm ready to retire again so tell me again why I need to worry about them? They can work just like I have. I've had major illnesses, major surgeries, car problems and screwed out of a job. What else can they do to me?
I don't remember them asking the people of Salisbury if we wanted this. This happens just because THEY want it to happen? They need to remember just who has the power around here. No one hired you to make decisions for us. You do not get to run this city the way YOU want to run it. You are nothing more than a public servant. Now get to serving. Confer with the people before making any decision.
