ReplyDeleteI'll start the conversation here.
ReplyDeleteWTH is a Rotary Labyrinth???
The Night Time Salisbury Rotary Club is celebrating their 100th Anniversary next year. A few members have been working on this concept to develop where else - Downtown SBY!
ReplyDeleteA Labyrinth is a garden, a peace park, a healing presence, AND an ongoing expense to maintain! Maybe Joe can post some pics of other Rotary Labyrinths. (Can't seem to do in a comment)
I am definitely NOT in favor of using any government funding for this type of project. Shame on Sherree & MaryBeth for even submitting legislation for this and Shame on the Rotary members who asked.
This is the same Rotary Club who built the "Scout House" on Riverside Dr just past Timberlake. This, too, caused a ton of neighborhood ruckus! And, the "Scout House" even maintains liquor to serve the Rotarians at their Thursday evening dinners!
I am feeling so ... so ZEN right now!
ReplyDelete2:49-I can't believe you don't know that.I don't either.
ReplyDeleteThe Rotary wheel has 6 spokes.
ReplyDeleteThat's about all I know.
Except I don't like the symbolism of the number 6 very much- do you?
The document say that this same bill is also "crossfiled" in the Senate, where it is being sponsored by Jim Mathias.
ReplyDeleteDon't believe him or Carozza when they talk about fiscal discipline and avoiding the waste on money that the state takes from the citizens. They will spend whatever amount of our money that it takes to get the votes they need to win election. Term limits are badly needed to prevent this theft.
I won't be voting for either of them and will do a write-in vote for Mickey Mouse.
Listen to Mary Beth give her 5 minute speech which takes 20 minutes, she is really more liberal than Jim.
ReplyDeleteI listened to Carozza at the Delmar Firemans Dinner she just about gagged everyone there with her praise of everyone in the room. She is a bigger kiss ass than Mathias ever was.
ReplyDeleteCarozza filing a bill with Hughes with cross filing support from Mathias how liberal can you get.
ReplyDeleteIt is so easy to spend other people's money....
