WANTED: PELLET STOVE INSTALLER

I'm looking for someone experienced with installing a pellet stove. I called a local dealer who refused to install anything they didn't sell. When I asked if they could recommend someone who could do so they said, no.

    PTL is great. 410 896 4707. They installed my wood burning insert, I would assume they’d do a pellet as well

    Just curious...who was the local dealer.

      I believe there is only1 local pellet stove dealer in the Salisbury area.

    The local dealer sounds awful to only install if you buy for him what a sense of community and bad citizenship he displays, to deny you for those reasons his name needs to be known, and people need to avoid his establishment. Good luck may your choice be a great one.

      Installing equipment you don't sell is a liability.
      Not recommending someone else is being uncool.

    Dealer is only in CYA mode - no conscious in today's environment, where there is a need everywhere!

    I use Advanced Chimney Services.

    Dan Schultz is the owner, (410)749-7920.

    He resides in Eden on Stockyard Road. His wife Melissa usually works the phone.

    He installed all 3 of my woodstoves about 15 ago, an insert in the first floor fireplace and free standing stoves in the basement and garage.
    Everything is up to code.

    I use him to clean them, too.

    There are competent installers you will have to make some phone calls. I wonder if this local dealer would work on one they didn't install? I was a bit worried when they sold out.

    James, you are so right, Advanced Chimney is the best. I have passed his name on to six people and they all thanked me so much. He is the best.
