The incident occurred on Monday, February 12, 2018 at approximately 4:27 p.m. when a 40-year-old victim dropped her wallet in the parking lot of the Roadsters Liquor store located at 1551 Savannah Road. The victim returned to the Liquor store after realizing her wallet was missing and made contact with the store manager. The manager was able to review the store's video surveillance tapes which shows the victim dropping her wallet and approximately three minutes later, the above pictured suspect picks it up. The suspect exits the parking lot, driving a 4-door, maroon colored Acura.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing an eagles football shirt, black pants with a red stripe, glasses and a white ear piece.

I don't understand? I would hope that somebody would be nice enough to take the money inside and drop the wallet in a mailbox. But I know that I would probably never see it again.

Happened to my daughter. She left her wallet at a Store after she got out of work. Wallet mailed to her - no money. Just drivers license. Oh well. What are you going to do. She worked long hard hours as a server while attending college.

ReplyDeleteIf he found it, and does not return it to the person that lost it, or the police, it is theft. He is intending on depriving the owner of their property. That is all that is needed for it to be a theft. Yes, theft. Not finders keepers unless your prepubescent.
ReplyDeleteThis guy finding a wallet does not constitute theft. She lost it, he found it. It would be nice and morally right for him to return it completely intact, but that may be setting the bar too high. Charging him with theft is just another overreach of "Lawr Enforcement." Men and women with guns who will lock you in a cage and extort money from you. Avoid all interaction with police at all costs. They are not trained to protect and serve and they are dangerous.
