SHOREBIRDS HIT AN ALL TIME LOW, NOW CHARGING ADMISSION FOR COLOR GUARDS
Shorebirds now charging military organizations to perform Color Guard for National Anthem. Must be desperate to sell tickets if they have to charge military professionals who are doing them a favor by doing color guard. UPDATE: I just got off the phone with General Manager Chris Bitters. He was very apologetic over the improper wording on this message. It is not their intent to ever charge the actual color guards. In fact they are truly interested in inviting more to do the National Anthem. He is on a business trip at the moment but assures me when he returns on Monday he will immediate tweak the words on this message. Mistakes happen.
What is the attendance record since they began playing here -- my guess is a death spiral. Can't believe that the County is continuing to subsidize Perdue Stadium.
And guess what the attendance would be for ice hockey.
I thought this was appalling as well. My daughter's chorus was invited to sing the National Anthem before a game. But in order to participate, she MUST buy a ticket for admission...disgraceful.
we were asked if we wanted to perform color guard on opening day - then the flyer with request to purchase tickets was sent - we declined to present the colors on opening day - they still have not changed the flyer or program
Face it people your area us dead!! Do a survey of any other communities west of Salisbury we make every possible effort to avoid having to stop there. We also find the clown you have as mayor Jake day to be a complete idiot. Your city isn't appealing at all whether you have a minor league baseball/hockey team. You're a drug infested gang consumed municipality keep building the section 8 housing all of Baltimore will be there soon
This is pretty bad marketing on the shorebirds behalf! Those that say the prices are too high though, get real what do you want $2 beers and $1 hot dogs.

DeleteI am not sure that is the intent. Poor sentence structuring creates issues such as theses.

When they started charging for parking, I quit going. Food prices are also totally unreasonable.
