Pat Buchanan Sees A 'Never-Trump' Press In Near-Panic

“All the News That’s Fit to Print” proclaims the masthead of The New York Times. “Democracy Dies in Darkness,” echoes The Washington Post.

“The people have a right to know,” the professors at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism hammered into us in 1962.“Trust the people,” we were admonished.

Explain then this hysteria, this panic in the press over the release of a four-page memo detailing one congressional committee’s rendering of how Trump-hate spawned an FBI investigation of Republican candidate and President Donald Trump.

What is the press corps afraid of? For it has not ceased keening and caterwauling that this memo must not see the light of day.

Do the media not trust the people? Can Americans not handle the truth?

  2. LOL

This situation reminds me of Brer' Rabbit.
Whatever you do, don't throw me into that briar patch!

The media is pretending they are upset over something their owners created with intelligence assets.
This Country is truly a mess.
The People are completely insane and cannot understand the level of corruption in front of their faces.
They simply continue to pay 40% of their income to the government and cheer for the government to "win" wars of aggression against 3rd world countries.

And they easily shut down any criticism by uttering two words: TIN FOIL
We keep each other in check like sheep in a pen.
Anyone gets out of the pen, and we all scream for the wolf to come and eat him.

    Unbelievable.

  3. With the exception of Fox News and OAN(One America News) the majority of the MSM are protecting the Democrats.

  4. I watched Chris a&&hole on CNN to see the spin. I absolutely despise him nothing has changed from 8 months ago when I watched his acting. His family ruined NY. Bottom line the FBI agent that thinks he is batman will be indicted.

  5. “All the News That’s Fit to Print” isn't always all the news that's fit to believe.

  6. "All the News That’s Fit to Print" has appeared in the masthead of the New York Times for more then century. "Democracy Dies in Darkness" was added to the Washington Post masthead several years after amazon founder Jeff Bezos acquired the paper from Graham Holdings in 2013.

"All the News That’s Fit to Print" to me has alway meant, All the News We See Fit to Print. How can Democracy Die in Darkness in a nation that is not a Democracy?
