The 9-year-old girl’s father, who was not identified either, confirmed to San Diego’s KGTVvthat she ended up selling a total of 312 boxes over the course of about six hours, presumably to customers of the Urbn Leaf dispensary.
The dispensary, too, advertised that the girl would be appearing outside the facility in a post shared to the shop’s Instagram page.

She and her parents violated the rules by setting up a table prior to Feb. 9th. and should be disqualified from any sales goals. I'm sure the GSA loves being associated with drugs as well.
ReplyDeleteRather be associated with pot than be associated with the legal opioids tha doctors prescribe everyday. Pot has never killed anyone but our doctors have. The kid was smart knowing the side effects of pot are munchies. Pot is illegal and alcohol isn’t. Pot makes you hungry and happy. Alcohol makes you careless and stupid. But it’s legal. Makes no sense. And the people who think that pot is a hard drug are as clueless as a lot of our elected officials.
DeleteTalk about your munchies...Ray...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea....kudos to her and her dad.....she will be successful in life if she keeps thinking this way.....
ReplyDeleteSmart kid.
ReplyDeleteFuture marketing major.
I'm surprised she wasn't arrested for selling food items without a permit. Personally I think it was a great example of American ingenuity and enterprise.
ReplyDeleteWe need more entrepreneurial young republicans.
ReplyDeleteThat's because pot makes everyone a nicer more charitable person. LEGALIZE IT ALREADY!
ReplyDeleteShe would have sold me 5 boxes of those damn peanut butter cookies had she caught me outside that pot market.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant
ReplyDelete4:44, this is not our local district. Many places all over the country sell them through out the year.
ReplyDeleteI am sure GS does not care, they are making bank of these girls selling the cookies. What does our local scouts earn, 50 cents a box?
A win win for everyone!
ReplyDeleteThat day was indeed a good day for all!
7:44 Try reading the article rather than the headline. Being investigated.
ReplyDeleteDoyle also told the San Diego Union-Tribune that booth sales don’t officially commence until Feb. 9, but girls are allowed to walk “door to door” or do “walk-abouts” before then.
Will Senn, who founded Urbn Leaf, has defended the girl, and claimed that she was only passing by on her wagon — a statement that seems to contradict what her father had told KGTV.
This opens the door to a constant presence of non-profit bake sales and candy sales outside dispensaries across the country.
ReplyDelete4:44 PM - get over it.
ReplyDeleteI really don't care. Never support those little brats selling junk food.
ReplyDeleteWould you rather see the girl grow up on EBT 4:44? Someone tries to do right and gets kick in the teeth.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Trumps America.
DeleteCheating isn't doing right.
ReplyDelete@ 4:44 & 7:44...you two must be liberals.....Pissed off because you didn't think of the idea.....Oh that's right....you're "entitled" and the kid outsmarted you by "thinking" and not "expecting"......
ReplyDelete8:28 That is the dumbest comment yet. I'm a republican and pay more in taxes than you make a year. STFU and get to work making money for someone like me.
