  1. No, just idiots that can't drive. You can't blame texting on everything when there are states where it is not illegal to text while driving.

    1. Well it is illegal in Maryland. Granted I agree with you 1000% idiot people can’t drive. It’s ridiculous. And what’s even more ridiculous is to get your license you just have to do a couple turns, smh. Someone needs to seriously fix the driving license procedures.

I noticed years ago when they stopped teaching driver's ed in schools and turned it over to for-profit schools the quality of drivers went down. As we all can attest to. All drivers should be tested similar to CDL holders. Educate them. Don't just allow them to drive around a corner and if they don't hit anything they get a license.

  7. In the 1970-1980's, most people in this are knew how to drive well before being old enough to get a license. Unless you lived in salisbury city limits, you lived in a rural area. Most boys drove tractors and farm trucks, some girls too. Fathers taught their children to drive before they even took driver's ed in school. Most kids don't have fathers around to teach them nowadays.

Sad thing is that you don't even drive 99% of the vehicles today. They have auto transmissions, all you do is point them in the right direction and brake. There would be less time to play on the phone if they had manual transmissions.
