“Taking Back Our Community” Opioid Forum to be held in Pittsville
A “Taking Back Our Community” opioid forum will be held on January 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pittsville Fire Department at 7442 Gumboro Rd., Pittsville, MD. This is the third in a series of community forums being held around the county to share with residents what is happening at the county level to combat the opioid crisis in Wicomico County. Community members will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and share what they feel needs to be done.
This event includes a free Narcan training for community members ages 18 and older, immediately following the community discussion. Those completing the training will be given a Narcan kit.
The opioid crisis has touched the lives of many in our community. The public is encouraged to be part of the solution to the opioid situation in Wicomico County by participating in this forum.

ReplyDeleteI know more than a couple of people from pittsville who gave up heroin for a better life. (NO THANKS TO Y'ALL WHO JUST WANT THEM DEAD) do y'all remember the saying "it takes a village" or does that go out the window when it gets a little tough? SMH I hope no one throws a stone at your glass house!!! This is an epidemic. So im curious do y'all feel the same way about the old lady who takes opiates from there doctor?
