Former Florida Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown reported to federal prison Monday to start her five year sentence for multiple crimes, including tax fraud and corruption.
Brown, 71, turned herself in to the Sumter Correctional Institution in Florida, one of the largest federal prisons in the country, which houses both violent and non-violent offenders. Brown will be serving her five-year sentence at a minimum-security satellite facility, which keeps roughly 391 other female inmates.

ReplyDeleteLaugh it up. She'll be collecting over $60,000 per year from her government pension. Social Security payments will be stopped while she's in the can, but the pension is hers until she stops appealing her case and the guilty verdict holds.

Probably not, but April Jackson said she wanted to borrow them until her court date.
FINALLY some factual news worthy of reading! Also laughing about it too!!!!!! Couldn't happen to a nicer person...and I know several others who may eventually join her!!!!!!!
