Hillary Clinton admits nobody is seeking her advice on running for president in 2020.
In a recent interview with the Hugh Hewitt radio program the twice failed presidential candidate revealed that “nobody’s actually been to see me” about running for the nation’s top office.
“I see Democrats all the time, and nobody has said ‘Hey, I’m going to run,’ or ‘I’m thinking about running, give me advice now,’ because it is too soon,” Clinton said.
Clinton claims some Democrats promised to pay a visit but it hasn’t happened yet.
“And there may be some private planning going on by some people. I wouldn’t know who. I wouldn’t hazard a guess. But in terms of actually seeking out advice, people have said hey, I want to come talk to you. But I haven’t had those conversations, in large measure, because I’ve said I’m going to focus next year on 2018, and then you know, I’ll be happy to talk.”

In Ads, Tobacco Companies Admit They Made Cigarettes More Addictive
The stark messages with black text on an otherwise blank page tell readers that cigarettes kill 1,200 Americans every day. The same messages start to run Monday evening on prime time television.
The ads are more than a decade in the making. They're the result of a 2006 judicial ruling in a lawsuit filed by the federal government that found that cigarette makers deliberately misled the public about the dangers of smoking. And the tobacco companies and anti-smoking advocates fought over every word.
But experts in public health say they may not be all that effective.
"If the intention was for these ads to have some dampening effect on smoking initiation, or just continuing to smoke, I would say it won't work," says Nora Rifon, a professor of consumer psychology at Michigan State University.
The ads are pretty weird.

Foiled! Electrician Used A Snack Bag As A Faraday Cage To Sneak Off The Job
For a while, Tom Colella had found his escape at the bottom of a bag of crunchy corn snacks. But it was not to last.
Earlier this month in western Australia, the Fair Work Commission, a workplace tribunal, found that the electrician — who was fired last year — had indeed been fired for good cause: He had been ditching work while on the clock, the commission concluded, and had hidden his whereabouts from his employer by MacGyvering a Faraday cage out of an empty bag of Twisties.
But let's back up a step: A Faraday cage, named for 19th century Scottish scientist Michael Faraday, blocks electromagnetic fields. Faraday found that an enclosure — or, in this case, the foil-lined interior of the cheesy corn snack bag — can keep these charges out if there's enough conductive material.
It appears Colella, 60, had slipped his company-mandated, GPS-enabled personal digital assistant into the bag to block the signals that enabled the device to track his movements.

Who Is Meghan Markle? 6 Things To Know About The Princess-To-Be
Admit it. You've Googled "Who's Meghan Markle" — or, at least, you thought about it.
The 36-year-old American actress is now engaged to Prince Harry, the redheaded younger brother of Prince William, with a wedding planned for spring 2018.
Here in America, our only princesses are of the Disney variety. But the wedding of Kate and William in 2011 proved that there's tremendous interest — in some cases, obsession — with the marital machinations of the royal family across the pond.
So even if you aren't on the edge of your seat wondering who snagged the former "playboy prince," someone you know probably is. Let's pretend you're reading this on their behalf.

New Generation Of Transgender Americans Wants To Change Laws, Not Just Minds
In the kitchen of a small colonial house in Springfield, Mass., Edanry Rivera and Louis Mitchell do-si-do around a coffee maker, handing off the creamer and reaching for a refill.
"Coffee is the lifeblood of my very existence," says Louis Mitchell, 57, a bald transgender man with a graying goatee.
Mitchell owns this home. Rivera, a 27-year-old trans woman, rents a room. Many days, to avoid scoffs, stares and physical threats, Rivera never leaves the house.
"Once I step out there, it's war, sometimes, with people," Rivera says.
Like the day recently when Rivera came under attack, in the grocery checkout line, from some other Puerto Rican women. They left, telling Rivera, "you better watch out when you go outside," she recalls. Rivera works from home, as a marketing writer, to limit such encounters.

Note to Liberals...
If your two co-captains don't show up for the game, you've lost before it started...
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer decided today their feelings about President Trump's tweet meant more than you, your family and your community. They opted to take a knee so to speak, and they decided to skip the big dance. Their loss and a big lose for liberals throughout America.
The Liberal talking heads will try to convince you that it's the Conservatives' fault but at this point, even McConnell has been dethroned from his former status of the last three weeks as chief bonehead on the Hill.
Yes, the King and Queen of idiocy goes to the royal Liberal version of the Toxic Twins.
One good thing's for sure. As this country is not moving in a fantastic direction towards prosperity, by not even showing up for the obligatory chat and a spot of tea, no one in the Democrat party can take credit for all the wonderful advancements we're making as a country!

Can Police Track You Through Your Cellphone Without A Warrant?
The U.S. Supreme Court confronts the digital age again on Wednesday when it hears oral arguments in a case that promises to have major repercussions for law enforcement and personal privacy.
At issue is whether police have to get a search warrant in order to obtain cellphone location information that is routinely collected and stored by wireless providers.
Cellphone thieves caught because they used ... cellphones
The irony of the case before the court, Carpenter v. United States, is that it involves massive cellphone thefts and a string of armed robberies at Radio Shacks in Michigan and Ohio. The robbers entered the stores, guns drawn, herded patrons to the back, loaded up laundry bags with new smartphones, and then later sold their booty to fences for tens of thousands of dollars per haul.

Geert Wilders: "It's Time To Drain The Swamp... In Europe"
Our democracies in the Western half of Europe have been subverted. Their goal is no longer to do what the people want. On the contrary, our political elites often do exactly the opposite. Our parliaments promote open-door policies that the majority of the people reject. Our governments sell out sovereignty to the EU against the will of the people. Our rulers welcome ever more Islam, although the majority of the people oppose it.
Our democracies have become fake democracies. They are multi-party dictatorships, ruled by groups of establishment parties.... The establishment parties control everything, not just the politicians in their pay, but also the top brass of the civil service, the mainstream media, even the courts.... They call us "populists" because we stand for what the people want. They even drag us to court.
We need to show that Europe's streets are our streets, that we want to stay who and what we are, and do not want to be colonized by Islam. Europe belongs to us!
Next month, I will be visiting Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. I have been invited to speak to a group of Czech patriots. The Czechs are a freedom loving people. In 2011, on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Ronald Reagan, they named a street in Prague after this great American president and freedom fighter.
This fact reminded me of a shameful event in my home town of The Hague, the seat of the Dutch Parliament and the government of the Netherlands. Look for a Ronald Reagan Street in The Hague and you will find none. A proposal in 2011 to name a street in The Hague after Reagan ran into fierce political opposition. Leftist parties, such as Labor, the Greens and the liberal D66 party, argued that naming a street in honor of Reagan would "do the image of the city no good." The whole affair ended in a disgraceful political compromise. Last year, a short stretch of a local bicycle path was named the "Reagan and Gorbachev Lane".
This anecdote is indicative of the difference between East and West in Europe. We can see the same difference in the attitude of their ruling elites towards Islam, the new totalitarianism that is threatening Europe today. In the East, political leaders oppose Islam; in the West, they surrender.
Islam has already gained a strong foothold in Western Europe. Its streets have come to resemble the Middle East, with headscarves everywhere. Parts of Western Europe, such as the Schilderswijk district in The Hague, the Molenbeek borough in Brussels, the banlieues[suburbs] of Paris, Birmingham in Britain, the RosengÄrd area in Malmö, Sweden, and many other neighborhoods, have become hotbeds of Islamic subversion.

Indiana ‘Night Nurse’ whose tweet about white women sparked investigation 'no longer' with hospital
A nurse at one of the largest hospital systems in the nation who sparked an internal investigation after posting a controversial tweet reportedly "is no longer an employee" at Indiana University Health.
Taiyesha Baker, a nurse at the hospital, allegedly posted a tweet Friday under the account "Night Nurse," saying that white women are raising sons who are "rapists," "racists" and "killers."
In a statement Sunday, a spokesperson for the hospital said "A recently hired IU Health employee tied to troubling posts on social media this weekend is no longer an employee of IU Health," Fox 59 reported.
"Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star. Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves b___," the tweet read.

You Tired of Winning Yet?
Today, the Markets were all up and reached record highs. Unbeknownst to most of you due to the Mainstream Media failing to report the real news for a change, the Market surges since Donald Trump was elected last November (2016) have been record-breaking.
Here's the statistics from today's market:
Dow 23,836.71 up 255.93 1.09%
66th New High under President Trump
S&P up 2627.05 25.63
55th New High Under President Trump
NASDAQ 6912.36 up 33.84
64th New High under President Trump
President Trump has yielded more for the markets, thus effecting many retirees' 401Ks and other savings/investing packages. These are substantial gains for many who lost a lot of their money over the last eight years due to Obama's continual death spikes to the economy, which tore away at consumer confidence, lending, business startups and investing.
Almost as if the tourniquet has been removed, many investors have opened up and begun spending money in the US again as well as many corporations repatriating from overseas holdings and outsourcing.
Consumer confidence hasn't been this high since before 9/11/2001.
Our President is not only Making America Great Again, he's also making Americans Rich Again!
Temporary restraining order to stop Trump's pick for CFPB is DENIED!
In a victory for the Trump White House, a temporary restraining order to halt the president's pick for acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFBP), Mick Mulvaney, was denied by a judge late Tuesday though the decision is likely to be appealed.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly ruled in favor of Trump in his effort to appoint White House budget director Mulvaney to lead the bureau, the nation's top financial watchdog agency.
“Denying the president’s authority to appoint Mr. Mulvaney raises significant constitutional questions,” Kelly, a Trump nominee for the bench, said.
CONSUMER AGENCY OFFICIAL SUES TRUMP ADMINISTRATION OVER ITS LEADERSHIP
The ruling comes after a nasty partisan spat that pitted the Trump administration against an Obama-era holdout to lead the bureau.
Leandra English was elevated to acting deputy director Friday when Richard Cordray resigned. The fight over who would lead the bureau bled into the weekend and on Sunday, English filed an emergency restraining order to keep Mulvaney from taking control.

Columbia Sportswear may close Portland office over death threats, public defecation by homeless people
Columbia Sportswear may be the next business to flee downtown Portland after a series of frightening encounters with the city's homeless population, including car break-ins, human waste dumped by the office's front door and threats to its employees.
In an op-ed piece published earlier this month by The Oregonian, Columbia Sportswear President and CEO Tim Boyle said he is concerned he made a mistake when he opened a headquarters for the company’s Sorel footwear brand downtown, calling the situation "outrageous and unacceptable."
"In fact, I am so concerned about the safety of our employees at the Sorel headquarters that we are taking the next 90 days to re-evaluate our location decision," Boyle wrote.
Since moving the 50 employees downtown, workers immediately reported being harassed and threatened by homeless individuals near the new offices.

Trump's FCC chairman accuses Twitter of silencing conservatives
The head of the Federal Communications Commission is going on the offensive against tech companies in an effort to make his case for repealing net neutrality rules.
FCC chairman Ajit Pai on Tuesday accused Twitter (TWTR, Tech30) and other tech companies of being disingenuous by arguing for a free and open internet while they "routinely block or discriminate against content they don't like."
The remarks came as part of a speech on his recently revealed plan to unravel Obama-era net neutrality protections at a telecom policy event in Washington DC. The 2015 rules were intended to keep the internet open and fair by preventing broadband providers from playing favorites with online content.
Pai argued that it's actually the "edge providers," the FCC's term for services like Google(GOOGL, Tech30) and Facebook (FB, Tech30), that "are a much bigger actual threat to an open Internet than broadband providers, especially when it comes to discrimination on the basis of viewpoint."

Wall Street at records as financials rally on Powell comments
Wall Street indexes edged higher to records on Tuesday after Federal Reserve chair nominee Jerome Powell’s comments on interest rate hikes and deregulation fired up financial stocks.
JPMorgan (JPM) and Bank of America (BAC) climbed about 2 percent, setting up the S&P financial index .SPSY for its biggest percentage gain in more than two weeks.
“When you look at the financials as a group, they probably have a couple of tail winds – in terms of how he (Powell) thinks about regulation and interest rates and certainly the progress being made so far on tax reform,” said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at B. Riley FBR in Boston.
Powell, in his confirmation hearing before the Senate Banking Committee, positioned himself as an heir to the central bank policies of current chair Janet Yellen and her predecessor Ben Bernanke.
He also defended the need to potentially lighten regulation on the financial sector.
Data pointing to better-than-expected consumer confidence also helped lift sentiment.
“There is much to like about equities from a macro and fundamental basis,” said Terry Sandven, chief equity strategist at U.S. Bank Wealth Management in Minneapolis.
The Conference Board’s consumer confidence index for November jumped to its highest in nearly 17 years. The index rose to 129.5 in November, compared with an increase to 124 expected by economists polled by Reuters.
The data follows a report on Monday that showed sales of new U.S. single-family homes hit a 10-year high in October and robust Cyber Monday and Black Friday shopping that pointed to a strong holiday shopping season

Brain damage from football concussions varies by position and career duration
Football players may experience different degrees of brain damage after concussions depending on what position they play and how long they stick with the sport, a small U.S. study suggests.
Researchers examined data from brain scans of 61 former college and professional football players who didn't have any symptoms of cognitive impairment. One technique, known as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), looked at the structural integrity of white matter, which connects different parts of the brain; the other test, known as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), measured brain function while participants competed memory tasks.

It’s the Grim Reality of Frequent Work Travel: Health Problems
Their lives may be portrayed as glamorous. In fact, they’re often the opposite. Pity frequent business travelers.
Doctors at organizations including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the International Society of Travel Medicine say they are hearing of a range of health problems in frequent travelers, from insomnia and weight gain to viruses. And they said they see a need for more comprehensive research into the health compromises made by business travelers, both short haul and long haul.
“The whole noncommunicable disease side of travel health is something that’s been under-researched,” said Dr. Martin Cetron, director of the division of global migration and quarantine at the C.D.C.
Lin Chen, the incoming president of the International Society of Travel Medicine and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, said that jet lag, combined with a lack of access to exercise and fresh food while on the road and sporadic engagement at home, needs rigorous study. “Right now, it’s hard to know the impact because not enough research has been done,” she said. “But certainly it’s significant.”
Dr. Cetron said the image of the jet-setter who flies around making million-dollar deals no longer reflects the experience of most business travelers. “The reality is that the full spectrum of the work force now travels. Not just C.E.O.s but the more modest businessperson — think of junior employees at multinational companies, or aid workers who are called to respond to international crises. Some of these people have to travel on really shoestring budgets.” For them, flying business class or staying in fancy hotels is not an option.

Here We Go Again: Wells Fargo Is Under Investigation For Gouging Clients
After reporting last month that Wells Fargo’s foreign-exchange unit was being investigated by regulators and that the bank had fired four employees – and demoted another – after discovering certain unspecified improprieties in its FX shop, more details about the exact nature of the bank’s latest scandal – which follows revelations that the bank’s retail division created millions of fake customer accounts, and its auto lending unit overcharged borrows – have finally been unearthed by the Wall Street Journal.
WSJ reports that the bank's FX sales desk routinely gouged customers by charging them up to eight times as much as the industrywide standard. Furthermore, when confronted by clients about the high fees, traders and salespeople were encouraged to lie about the reasoning for them.
And once again, it appears Wells Fargo’s idiosyncratic incentives encouraged traders and salespeople on the bank’s foreign-exchange desk to take advantage of their clients’ ignorance and gouge them with exorbitant fees. Those who remember the cross-selling scandal that precipitated the resignation of CEO John Stumpf last year will recall that the 5,000 or so branch employees who were fired by the bank reportedly blamed management’s unrealistic quotas for their behavior.
Foreign-exchange employees got bonuses based solely on how much revenue they brought in, say more than a dozen current or former Wells Fargo employees. No other big bank in the U.S. calculated bonuses of currency traders in such a defined and individual way. Wells Fargo said Monday that it began making changes to those compensation plans earlier this year.
The bank also charged some of the highest trading fees around, according to current and former employees. For more than a decade, customers were sometimes charged anywhere from 1% to 4% on basic transactions such as converting euros to dollars and complicated trades like hedging.
Those percentages can be at least two to eight times higher than the industrywide average of 0.15% to 0.5%, depending on the trade, customer and volume, according to foreign-exchange bankers throughout the industry.
For what it’s worth, Wells Fargo contests WSJ’s description...

Why Mueller Is REALLY Indicting Flynn
The mainstream narrative is that squeaky-clean special prosecutor Robert Mueller is going to indict Trump’s one-time foreign policy advisor Michael Flynn because Flynn is in the pocket of the Russians and the Turks.
But the truth might be totally different …
After all, Flynn’s meeting with Russian diplomats was completely normal, according to a prominent U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union.
So why is Mueller really going after Flynn?
When Flynn was head of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency and afterwards, he blew the whistle on the U.S. and its allies willfully allowing Islamic terrorists to flourish in Syria.
That didn’t ingratiate him with the Deep State …
Then last November, Flynn ruffled more feathers by writing:
The primary bone of contention between the U.S. and Turkey is Fethullah GĂŒlen, a shady Islamic mullah residing in Pennsylvania whom former President Clinton once called his “friend” in a well circulated video.

FCC chairman blasts net neutrality activists 'harassing us' at home
FCC Chairman Ajit Pai on Monday blasted net neutrality activists who protested outside his home with signs directed at his children, saying the demonstration “crosses a line.”
The protests followed Pai saying last week that he would follow through on his pledge to repeal Obama-era Internet regulations.
The move set up a showdown with consumer groups, but the backlash recently reached Pai's own home -- with activists putting up cardboard signs that ask if this is the world he wants his children to "inherit." One sign says, "They will come to know the truth. Dad murdered democracy in cold blood."
“It certainly crosses a line with me,” Pai told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday. “Families … should remain out of it and stop harassing us at our homes. ... It was a little nerve-racking, especially for my wife who’s not involved in this space.”

Court Documents: Roy Moore Accuser Has ‘Violent Nature,’ History of Criminal Fraud Against Own Family
Court documents related to Tina Johnson, an Alabama woman who claims that Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore groped her in his office decades ago, may raise questions about Johnson’s motives in making the accusation.
The documents, reviewed by Breitbart News, show that Moore represented Johnson’s mother in a nasty custody case for Johnson’s then 12-year-old son, Daniel Sitz. In the case, Johnson was repeatedly painted by Moore’s client as an unfit, absent, and unstable mother and was accused of taking her son from his elementary school against his will. Johnson’s mother was ultimately awarded custody in the case.
One affidavit signed by Johnson’s mother while she was represented by Moore accused Johnson of having a “violent nature” and noted that she “has been treated by a psychiatrist when she was approximately 15 years of age.” Johnson was a teenage mother.
Separate criminal documents show that, as late as 2010, Johnson was arrested and pled guilty to felony fraud charges related to checks belonging to a family member. She also entered a court drug program.

North Korea fires ICBM into Japanese waters as ‘Rocket Man’ Kim ramps up nuclear program
North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in the middle of the night local time Wednesday, the first such launch from the rogue regime in more than two months, a U.S. official confirmed to Fox News.
The missile, believed to be an ICBM by the Pentagon, was launched from Sain Ni in North Korea and flew roughly 620 miles before landing in the Sea of Japan.
South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, which first reported the launch, said the missile launch happened around 3 a.m. in North Korea. South Korea’s military had reportedly staged a “precision strike” missile exercise in response.
An official told Fox News the U.S. military was still analyzing the data to determine what type of ballistic missile was launched. North Korea has been working hard to perfect “re-entry” technology to one day have a warhead be able to survive re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere.

Denzel Washington to Black America: Stop Blaming the Prison System, ‘It Starts at Home’
Veteran actor Denzel Washington says his latest role as a dogged defense attorney in Roman J. Israel, Esq. reinforced his belief that black men “can’t blame the system” because we make it “easy work” when it comes to filling America’s prisons.
“It starts at the home. It starts at home. It starts with how you raise your children. If a young man doesn’t have a father figure, he’ll go find a father figure,” the Academy Award-winner told reporters at the Dan Gilroy-directed film’s New York premiere, the New York Daily News reports.
“So you know I can’t blame the system. It’s unfortunate that we make such easy work for them,” Washington said.
“I grew up with guys who did decades (in prison), and it had as much to do with their fathers not being in their lives as it did to do with any system,” said Washington..

McCain blasts Clinton's post-election memoir: 'You've got to move on'
Sen. John McCain is blasting Hillary Clinton for penning a memoir so soon after her stunning defeat in the 2016 presidential election while also noting that her problem is “she doesn’t have anything to do.”
“What's the f------ point? Keep the fight up?” McCain, R-Ariz., says in suggesting in an interview with Esquire published Monday that Clinton erred in writing “What Happened” when she did and then going on a media blitz to promote it.
“History will judge that campaign, and it’s always a period of time before they do," the senator told writer David Usborne. "You’ve got to move on. This is Hillary’s problem right now: She doesn’t have anything to do.”
“You’ve got to understand that you can’t rewrite history,” he said. “One of the almost irresistible impulses you have when you lose is to somehow justify why you lost and how you were mistreated: ‘I did the right thing! I did!’
The hardest thing to do is to just shut up.”

Trump to Meet with ICE Union over ‘Grievances’
The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council said its leaders will meet with President Donald Trump following a recent phone call with him. The union said President Trump called following the publication of a letter where the agents expressed a feeling of betrayal over changes at ICE.
National ICE Council President Chris Crane said President Trump called him on November 16 following the union’s publication of a letter expressing their feelings of betrayal by the Trump Administration. The union, which represents about 6,000 ICE officers nationwide, endorsed then-candidate Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign.
“The Trump administration isn’t working with us at all, and that’s the sad truth of it,” Crane stated on a website set up to express the union’s grievances with the administration. “We have written commitments that the White House would be working directly with us every day, but it’s not happening.”
Crane said he would not discuss the details of the content of his conversation with the President. “But as always the President treated me with the utmost respect, was polite and sincere, and asked a lot of questions to which I gave him straight answers,” he explained.

MSNBC host Joy Reid thinks rural Americans are 'core threat' to democracy
MSNBC host Joy Reid thinks that rural Americans are “the core threat to our democracy” and pointed to a series of tweets by liberal author Jared Yates Sexton that claimed Trump supporters “do not believe in the Constitution or any founding principles unless they're advantageous” as proof of her far-left theory.
“By 2040, about 70% of Americans are expected to live in the 15 largest states. They will have only 30 senators representing them, while the remaining 30% of Americans will have 70 senators representing them,” MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin tweeted over the weekend.
Reid, who tweets so often that it’s amazing she finds time to do anything else, has a feed that is essentially the anti-Trump talking points of the far left on a daily basis..

Rep Al Green (D-TX) Reportedly Had Sex With Drugged Out Staffer - Then Sued Her For Blackmail
One of the strongest voices advocating for a Trump impeachment, Al Green (D-TX), reportedly had sex with a drug-addicted employee in 2008, then sued her when she threatened to go public with claims of a hostile work environment and sexual harassment – stating at the time he “will not be extorted or blackmailed.”
Luke Rosiak of The Daily Caller reports:
Lucinda Daniels, his onetime district director, claimed she suffered a hostile work environment, claimed sexual harassment and demanded $1.8 million. Green sued her, saying she was using their sexual relationship to shake him down at the behest of other unnamed conspirators.
“Daniels has threatened to go public with her complaints if the Congressman does not per [sic] her money. Green has done nothing wrong and refuses to pay ‘hush money’ just for political expediency. Green will not be extorted or blackmailed by Daniels. He will not be the victim of a shakedown by Daniels and her agents. Green demands vindication of his actions and now sues Daniels for declaratory judgment relief relating to her workplace allegations and her quest for money,” documents Green filed in federal court in 2008 say.

The Dumbest Dumb Money Finally Gets Suckered In
Corporate share repurchases have turned out to be a great mechanism for converting Federal Reserve easing into higher consumer spending. Just allow public companies to borrow really cheaply and one of the things they do with the resulting found money is repurchase their stock. This pushes up equity prices, making investors feel richer and more willing to splurge on the kinds of frivolous stuff (new cars, big houses, extravagant vacations) that produce rising GDP numbers.
For politicians and their bureaucrats this is a win-win. But for the rest of us it’s not, since the debts corporations take on to buy their own stock at market peaks tend to hobble them going forward, leading eventually to bigger share price declines than would otherwise be the case.
The ultimate loser? The only people traditionally willing to buy in after corporations are finished overpaying for their stock: Retail investors, of course.
Let’s see how it’s playing out this time.
First, corporations spent several years elevating stock prices with share repurchases. Note the near perfect correlation between the two lines:

More than a dozen NFL players went back to protesting against the country in the first NFL action since the Thanksgiving holiday. Not surprisingly, while the protests continued, fans continued to leave thousands of empty seats in stadiums across the league.
With players from at least ten teams once again speaking out against the U.S.A. in a variety of ways during the national anthem, photos of empty seats filled the Internet once again.
With the San Francisco 49ers playing at home and players once again mounting a protest during the anthem, fans stayed away in droves for the 49ers loss to the Seattle Seahawks:

Claire McCaskill hiding travel on private plane from public
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D--Mo.) took action earlier this year to make her family's private plane un-trackable by the public, according to documents obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration.
McCaskill garnered much criticism ahead of her last reelection campaign over her use of a private jet at taxpayer expense that she demanded her husband "sell the damn plane." But they bought a new, more expensive plane shortly after she won that election. Now, as she gears up for her next election fight, they have taken action to limit scrutiny of the plane's use.
The company hired by McCaskill to operate the plane, a 2009 Pilatus PC-12/47E, wrote to the FAA earlier this year in April to ask that tracking information on the plane be blocked from the public, according to email records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Prior to 2013, private aircraft owners or operators had to present a "certified security concern" to the FAA if they wanted to block their aircraft data from public display on websites such as FlightAware.com, where McCaskill's plane could be tracked as recently as this year. However, changes made during the Obama administration removed this requirement and "make the aircraft blocking process as simple as possible."
Donor records from McCaskill's campaign previously revealed it brought in a $1,000 contribution from a top Aero Charter executive as the campaign was directing payments to the company for operation of the plane.
Representatives for McCaskill did not respond to multiple inquiries into the reason for the request and whether it had to do with her upcoming election.

Maryland's Assault Weapons Ban to Stand as Supreme Court Passes
Maryland's assault-weapons ban will stand after the U.S. Supreme Court, which has avoided major gun cases for seven years, declined on Monday to hear a challenge backed by the National Rifle Association.
The state's 2013 ban on assault weapons was enacted after the Sandy Hook school massacre, Reuters reported.
The court turned away an appeal by several Maryland residents, firearms dealers and the state NRA association, who argued that the ban violated their right to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment.
The justices sidestepped the roiling national debate over the availability of military-style guns to the public.

FLOOD Of Teachers QUIT- Students Keep HITTING Them, And There’s NO Support
Teachers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania have had enough with the abuse they are receiving from the students and are now quitting in droves. Several violent eruptions have occurred at Harrisburg public schools and teachers no longer feel safe at their job. Hostile work environment indeed.
The Harrisburg Education Association reported that at least 45 teachers have resigned between July and October of this year. Jody Barksdale, the Association President, mentioned that some more have quit since the end of October.
Teachers have reported being kicked and and hit by students as young as seven years old. Amanda Sheaffer said the first graders are out of control in her classroom.
“I have been hit, I have been kicked, I have been restrained from behind where I’ve been unable to move my arms,” she said. “It really throws off the whole day. I mean, you have an incident happen and you have to do a room clear, get all the students out, and then after that you have to take the time to do the write-up, and you have to make sure security comes and gets the kids.”
Barksdale said the Association is outraged and they are demanding that a united front of teachers, administrators, and parents tackle the problem head on, no pun intended.
The government, surprise surprise, denies anything is wrong. Superintendent Sybil Knight-Burney said the district needs to look at a “different type of support that is needed.”
“We aren’t complaining. We are here begging for help so that we can help those students,” Barksdale said.
She pleaded with the board in January, begging them for change, but says that “not much” has changed since then.
“Teachers and students are being hit, kicked, slapped, scratched, cussed at…. and observing other students flip over tables, desks and chairs,” she said.

FBI Gets Record Number of Requests for Background Checks on Black Friday, Blasting Last Years Record
The Federal Bureau of Investigation received a record-breaking number of background check requests this Black Friday.
In 2016, they received a total of 185,713 background check requests on gun sales for Black Friday? This year? A whopping 203,086. I think I know what I’m getting for Christmas.
As you know, anyone who wants to legally purchase a gun from an FFL needs to undergo a background check through the FBI before they can own the firearm. Different states have different laws, with some postponing the sale for 7 days before the buyer can actually take the gun home.

US MILITARY ISSUES NORTH KOREA NUCLEAR WARNING
North Korea’s spending on nuclear arms have increased and they’re already narrowing down which cities should be nuked first.
Speaking in an interview on ABC, the former military official Admiral Mike Mullen warned that North Korea is more likely now than ever to launch a nuclear attack.
In the interview, Mullen, a former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said that it’s “more probable than it used to be” and that the threat of North Korea “scares me to death, quite frankly.”
“They’re the most dangerous weapons in the world. And certainly if we have someone in North Korea that has a lethal legacy, is very, very unpredictable and sees [nuclear war[ as a way to solidify his future… [he would] potentially use them.”

Donald Trump DROPS THE HAMMER On ‘Fake News’ CNN
Trump has sent possible his best tweet yet, sending left wing media into meltdown.
Trump news popularized “Fake news” during the 2016 Presidential election, and it has been in our lexicon ever since. Even Dana Loesch of TheBlaze is seeing her kids get into the spirit:
My sons just settled an argument by the little one telling the other that he was “fake news.”
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) November 26, 2017
So today on Twitter, Trump has set every left wing media bandit off into a frenzy by writing this:
“We should have a contest as to which of the Networks plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me),” Trump tweeted. “They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!”
I might have to frame this.

Amazon: Exhausted humans are inefficient so robots are taking over
Mirror investigative reporter says: 'Amazon has recognised humans are the least efficient part of the operation - it makes more money by treating its workers as expendable commodities'
An exclusive Sunday Mirror investigation into the shocking conditions for staff at Amazon discovered workers fall asleep on their feet during relentless 10hr shifts - under constant pressure to deal with a package every 30 seconds.
The harsh realities of life with timed toilet breaks and impossible targets inside an Amazon warehouse have been revealed in an undercover investigation.
Sunday Mirror reporter Alan Selby spent five weeks working at the online giant's newest warehouse in Essex, finishing his final shift on Black Friday.
He found workers falling asleep on their feet as they struggled to keep up with seemingly impossible targets, with a new parcel expected to be packed and ready every 30 seconds.
Staff often work as many as 55 hours in a week in the £8.20 an hour jobs - although some are forced to pay £4 a day for a bus just to get to the warehouse.
Alan revealed the inner workings of the UK's biggest retailer today:
"Alone in a locked metal cage, 10 feet from my nearest colleague, a robot approaches from the shadows and thrusts a tower of shelves towards me.
"I have nine seconds to grab and process an item to be sent for packing – a target of 300 items an hour, for hour after relentless hour."

"I have nine seconds to grab and process an item to be sent for packing – a target of 300 items an hour, for hour after relentless hour."

WATCH: Black Man Caught Committing FAKE HATE CRIMES Against Black Churches
In Morristown, New Jersey someone has been vandalizing churches. Over the weekend, police arrested a man in connection with the crimes. Zuri C. Towns, 45, has since confessed to breaking signs and windows at the predominantly African-American churches. Towns attended church as a child at one of the churches. He was charged with four counts of criminal mischief. He was caught on surveillance video vandalizing a church, so confessing was just about all he could do. Some say these were fake hate crimes.
Authorities have now ruled out racism as a motive, since it was a black man who committed the vandalism. Towns says he acted alone. In the security footage, Towns is wearing a hoodie and a jacket. He walks fast up to the corner of the Church of God in Christ for All Saints in Morristown around 6:45 am on Saturday and half-heartedly throws a rock at the front of the church. “It wasn’t a good throw, he wasn’t a strong guy,” 17 year-old Tahj Valentine said prior to the arrest, as he vacuumed up glass before services Sunday. “He side-armed it, he’s obviously not a baseball player.”

Soros-Funded Groups Claim Repealing Net Neutrality Is “Racist”
In a desperate effort to save the Obama-era “Net Neutrality” rules, Soros-funded groups that favor censorship of conservative and libertarian view on the Internet have decided to run a scare campaign before the FCC votes on Dec. 14 on a new FCC order backed by Chairman Ajit V. Pai to end Title II regulation of the Internet.
Perhaps most ironically, Antifa groups protesting for a “free and open Internet” protested outside the FCC headquarters in Washington, D.C., on May 22, 2017, protesting Pai’s proposal to reverse “Net Neutrality” rules, while demanding the FCC must “Ban Drudge,” as well as Breitbart and Infowars.com.
Color of Change, a Soros-funded organization that bills itself as “the nation’s largest online racial justice organization” has charged Chairman Pai with racism.

Steely Dan, Inc. Fights Itself In Lawsuit Over Shares
Steely Dan, the artistic partnership of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker (with a revolving cast of songwriters and players), lasted nearly 50 years before Becker's deathin early September. Now, a dispute between Fagen and Becker's estate, which is now owned by his widow Delia Coffi, has put a bitter spin on the legacy of a warm, winking, coolly funky corner of pop.
The suit is over a "buy/sell" contract the members of Steely Dan signed more than 45 years ago, on Halloween, 1972. The contract, included as an addendum to the complaint filed by Fagen's lawyer, Skip Miller last Tuesday (Nov. 21), says that if any of its signees dies or leaves the band, the band's corporation has the right to immediately repurchase their shares at book value. The contract also includes mention that any transfer of those shares to another person is still subject to the agreement. After Becker's death, Fagen is now the only remaining signee of that contract to hold shares in Steely Dan, Inc.

"What's The F**king Point?" - John McCain Slams Hillary's Constant Whining
In an odd moment of clarity, Senator John McCain went 'renegadey' in an interview with Esquire magazine, telling Hillary Clinton to "get over it," comparing his post-2008 doldrums with Clinton's current struggle to understand how she lost to Donald Trump.
"You've got to understand that you can't rewrite history," McCain said in the interview published today.
"One of the almost irresistible impulses you have when you lose is to somehow justify why you lost and how you were mistreated...
I did the right thing! I did!... The hardest thing to do is to just shut up."

Sen. Tom Cotton: Trump Should 'Fire' Leandra English
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said Monday that President Donald Trump ought to fire Leandra English, who claims to be the lawful acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
"The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a rogue, unconstitutional agency. Leandra English's lawsuit to install herself as acting director against the president's explicit direction is just the latest lawless action by the CFPB," Cotton tweeted.
"She doesn't have a legal leg to stand on, as her own general counsel has conceded and the Department of Justice has concluded. The president should fire her immediately and anyone who disobeys Director Mulvaney's orders should be fired summarily. The Constitution and the law must prevail against the supposed resistance."

O’Malley: Obama Devastated Democratic Party Like a ‘Bad Forest Fire’
Wednesday on ABC’s “Powerhouse Politics” podcast, 2016 Democratic presidential candidate and former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-MD) said former President Barack Obama’s decision to set up Organizing for America rather than “infusing” his energy into the Democratic Party devastated the party on state and local levels like a “bad forest fire.”
O’Malley said, “To put it kindly, President Obama decided to set up a separate political organization rather than infusing that energy of his candidacy and his amazing and historic victory, rather than infusing that energy into the veins of the Democratic party and making the Democratic party new and more energetic, instead the president and his people decided to set up a separate organization in ‘Organizing for America,’ OFA. I guess the president, perhaps and his people, thought their roles in history was to transform us, allow all of to transcend beyond the need for political parties. ”
He continued, “So when the Republicans and their small group of very wealthy donors, who are not afraid to write big checks, saw what was happening, they immediately filled that vacuum. And in a very methodical way, fielded candidates with a whole lot of money to run for state senate, state legislators, backed candidates for governor. And they were able to wipe us out at the state level and increasingly at the local level. We’ve never gone through a period of time, at least not in modern history were the Democratic party lost so many seats and so many governors offices even as our president was a Democratic. That was a mistake that we made. We have to learn from that mistake. And I believe what is happening now is the party is regenerating itself, almost like after a bad forest fire.”

Week Ahead: The Stakes Are About To Get Really High For Republicans
It's back to work this week for President Trump and Republicans after Thanksgiving — and they have a lot to do.
Remember when Trump made that deal with "Chuck and Nancy" to avoid a shutdown and raise the debt ceiling? Well, the deadline to und the government is again fast approaching. Trump and congressional leaders have less than two weeks — until next Friday, Dec. 8 — to get it done. And this week begins a big push.
The four congressional leaders — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Paul Ryan and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi — head to the White House Tuesday to talk about that deadline and end-of-year legislation. Trump also heads to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to join the GOP policy lunch to talk taxes. Republicans are trying to get taxes done by Christmas.
That means there's a lot to do in a very short time, and the stakes couldn't be higher for Republicans. Just four days after the shutdown deadline, it's the Alabama Senate race. And the Democrat there, Doug Jones, has at least a 50-50 chance of winning.
