Now there's no sound at all. This is too funny. All those advertisers paying damn good money to be on a football game, (prime slot) and you cannot understand what they are saying when the sound is on and or no sound at all. Demand your money back.
I have not lost any sound at all and have been watching the Redskins game. No problems at all today. Comcast has schedule screwed up showing WBOC had early game when they did not.
Jim, I'm glad you can see it but they wouldn't have broadcasted the technical difficulty signal today if they didn't know they were having major issues. All my other channels are coming through perfectly clear, picture and sound. Channels 5 & 6 are toast.
What a joke! They call themselves Delmarvas News Leader. They go through more employees like we change our socks & underwear 4 those who choose 2 wear them. What a disgrace they ought 2 go hang themselves by their bootstraps if they hag any.Wishful thinking 4 what christmas may bring.Ah ba hum bug,Santa got a lifetime supply of coal 4 all wboc employees except Nicole Lauren she"s a hotty.
To those of you, (rejected) claiming I'm watching football, you are wrong. I channel surf and noticed the problem. Because WBOC put up the warning of technical difficulties I've purposely been surfing the channels to see if anything got better, it hasn't for two days now. As I also stated earlier, there are no problems with the other channels, so it's not the cable company and again, let's not forget the image on this exact post showing WBOC admits they're having problems.
They only good thing about WBOC is Kylie Winkler, she`s as cute as a bug, everything else about WBOC SUCKS. ever since old man draper died a few months ago WBOC has gone completely down the toilet.
Same issues with radio – 1320 has dead air through much of the afternoon, and 1470 has local and national news broadcasting at the same time so they are talking over one another.
The majority of WBOC's airtime is spent on "Bless our Children". I hope that they are doing their homework on this and really know where all of the donations will be going to. It is ridiculous how much time that they spend recognizing who has given a donation. That should be kept private. Its not a popularity contest on who is giving.
WBOC always loses sound when the news changes to the weather guys and they start talking. This has been happening for more than a year. It does not matter what tv I am using in my house. It is not a problem with Comcast, it is a problem at the WBOC studios. How long will it take for WBOC to fix this problem?
Seems like both WBOC and WMDT are both like watching high school news programming. They are either very young, like just out of college, or near retirement and almost near death like Dan. Compared to WBAL in Baltimore, or WUSA in Washington, they are a joke!
There are so many charities out there during the holiday season. My church does the Angel Tree Ministry. I went to one home, where the grandmother was raising her grandchildren, and there were so many presents from other charities, I was told to put the presents on the porch. There was no thank you, but just put the presents on the porch and leave!
I can barely afford presents for my family, and this goes to kids whose parents are either in prison or on drugs, and will probably be future criminals themselves.
My question is, who investigates Bless Our Children, and how do they determine who is truly in need? What about poor working families who struggle every day. Is there anything out there for families who need a hand up, instead of a hand out?
I too am tired of their Bless The Children campaign I think it is wrong to read off all the names, is it a shaming thing for companies to compete. I also don't like all the donations the dollar stores, Big Lots and others want you to donate each time you go to their registers. Put a can out if people are inclined they will put something in themselves, between all the bell ringers and everyone wanting $ for this and that, makes you want to avoid it.
Probably the broadcast engineer din't prepare long enough to drive in the snow and decided to just stay home.
ReplyDeleteCall Dan " THE Man " !!!
ReplyDeleteFIRE DAN SATERFEILD

DeleteWBOC is also presently broadcasting for a winter storm - for guess when - Friday night and Saturday (old news) - and here it is Sunday night.
ReplyDeleteTHE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR MUCH OF DELMARVA FOR TONIGHT AND SATURDAY.

ReplyDeleteI have noticed WBOC is really been messed up lately. Does anyone know if there might have been a major change in management and/or ownership.
ReplyDeleteJoe not only the advertisers but look what cable and satellite companies are paying them to broadcast trash / nothing.

ReplyDeleteDan said, it would be like this
ReplyDeleteMaybe they are trying to get another channel going for their illegal buddies. A dollar means more to those people than patriotism.
ReplyDeleteDo they have kids running the station?

ReplyDeleteAt home in Salisbury outskirts using over the air signal and at girlfriend in OP on Mediacom their broadcasts have come through fine.
Content on broadcasts is the same trivial mish-mosh as always.
