Two Notre Dame Football Players Suspended Indefinitely After Arrest FORD SPRINGER

Two Notre Dame football players were arrested for shoplifting on Friday night and have now been suspended from the team indefinitely, according to a local news organization in South Bend, Indiana.

Fighting Irish receiver Kevin Stepherson and freshman running back CJ Holmes were caught shoplifting at a Macy’s department store at the University Park Mall in Mishawaka. Stepherson reportedly stole a pair of $59 sweatpants and Holmes tried to make off with a $79 North Face coat, before the two players were stopped by Macy’s security and busted.

  2. Come on, this really doesn't and shouldn't happen at a major D1 college that involves athletes - specifically ND Football. Players are given golden spoons upon arrival after heavy recruitment. They have handlers that are suppose to follow them practically 24/7. Yes, the players are at fault, but someone will lose their job for not handling these kids properly. Just a product of the environment and ANOTHER embarrassment to ND.

Brian Kelly should be fired since this happened on his watch.

  3. You can take them out of the ghetto but the ghetto comes out in all. Its either drugs, assault, and now theft
