    4. Delmar is a good school with strong values and the fact that a single incident has made big news when the same thing goes on all day everyday at schools like Bennett and WiHi and even the middle schools proves that. The difference is that the Wicomico County School system is afraid to address such issues while you can bet that this behavior will NOT be tolerated at Delmar. Kids like that who do not want to conform to the school's values will be booted out and sent to alternative school with no hesitation and they are not afraid of the parents like WicBOE seems to be.

    2. What ever. There are kids being picked on, hit for no reason and or attacked. I tell mines if someone attacks them or attempts to, to defend themselves. There are kids who are mercilessly taunting other kids. Then when the bully gets what they deserve the other child looks like a monster. Kids can only take so much. Im sure one of the kids is the victim in this video. Not fair to blame both. Maybe the bully rightfully got the bad end of the stick. Maybe the other child was just assauled.

The parents if kids like this provaby arentvecen present, probably being raised by grandparents. I had enough respect for my elders and class that I didn't dare do crap like this in school. Not many but the word used to get around that so and so and so and so were going to fight at a certain area and time. Everyone would be sure to be in that area at the given time. The thing is when the teachers arrived AUTHORITY FIGURES the fight immediately broke up and everyone scattered BECAUSE we were taught to respect authority figures. Not like today. They don't respect anything. They take care of nothing. Ungrateful losers and please please don't compare them to animals. Animals are more civilized and raise their young better.

  39. Joe,

I honestly wonder what it will take for this to start being addressed seriously. Will a school shooting or a murder have to happen for somebody to take this kind of daily behavior seriously? It is so out-of-control in our schools. Gangs, drugs, attempted rapes, assaults on staff and students happen so often it has become almost routine in our local districts. Remember the Bennett incident where an administrator was strangled and the principal accosted? One would have thought that to be a wake-up call. But no, more of the same hush-hush from our boards and superintendents. I just hope it isn't someone I love and care about who becomes the next victim.

I remember a couple of fights like this between girls, guys would meet at the bike rack across the street and duke it out until the ancient crossing would hit you with his flag. The teacher coaches would break up most fights parting desks like the red sea and tearing fights apart and throwing punks against the walls. The farmer school bus drivers too would through the emergency break and throw everyone books and all to the floor and tear to the back of the bus break up fights and put you right off the bus. The uncivilized populace white and black then new their place and you did no mess with your elders. They would jack you up and then your parents would to.

O how we can't talk enough about how great we are while all the neighboring towns listen and shake their heads in agreement because they're too polite to tell them how pompas and arrogant they are with the same amount of drugs, prostitution, third world country roads, crooked politicians and the same crappy state funded curriculum, be a victim liberal mentality as every other city and town. When Really, Delaware did what any good property owner does. Sticks there out house closest to the property line as possible so the neighbors have to smell there SHHHH..... Don't say it! 56. Give teachers total immunity from knocking those monkeys OUT.

Act like a wild animal and get treated like one.
The consequences of looking for trouble is sometimes you find it.
Break a jaw or two and let their parents find $20,000 to fix it. And another school for them.
Instead, you see teachers trying to separate two or three illiterate dummies as delicately as possible because they KNOW someone is filming and someone's welfare mom will be looking to sue the teacher for assault or injury.
    That's a fact. A sorry, inexcusable FACT.
Fight and GET YOUR ASS KICKED. By, and with, authority.
Have a couple of tough kids leave the school in an ambulance.
Or, keep watching entropy destroy everything you know and love. For inclusion's sake. And diversity. And finally, for the sake of the kids who still want to learn.
    Keep cheering.

They can snap at any minute without any provocation. Is this acceptable society behavior? Hell no but schools not doing anything to these two animals only validates their behavior, causing them to replay this scene over and over again until they get killed.

  64. I got into a fight when i was in high school. It was not the fault of my parents. They did well in raising me to be a strong law biding responsible and hard working person. I was wrong for me to get into that fight i must agree but i was defending a person that was being bullied and if given the chance i would do it again. Am i a thug? No not in the least. Would i do it today? No there are other means. but for that time period and era i did what i thought i had to do. yes i got suspended and i paid the price for my actions and i deserved what i got, but i did not regret for standing up to a bully! Me fighting that bully was not a reflection of my parents in the aspect of fighting but i was always taught to stand up for what you believe in and in that aspect yes my parents were to blame. Fighting is wrong, in any instance especially in school. There are other ways to handle things. When a teacher or other authority figure gets involved you don't attack that authority figure, You STOP! Stop blaming the parents they are not always to blame, you can teach a kid all the right things and all it takes if one bad influence and all you have taught them is gone right out the window! Punishing those kids is the right thing to do not only by suspension but maybe they need some counseling to get to the bottom of why it happened to begin with,Maybe then make them do a few hours of community service, doing something constructive and purposeful....Fighting was wrong but why were they fighting to begin with? When we were kids i knew of instances of a friend that if they got into a fight with their brother or sister their parents would make them go into a room and make then work it out, and they could not come out until it was solved! So some basic questions needs to be asked if they have not been. Whats going on and what are the solutions to prevent it from happening again! If it was bullying then it needs to be addressed!

You cannot even look at them without being cussed. The schools are trying to hide what happens in schools these days. They do not want it getting out how bad it is. I know teachers who quit public schools because of these thugs. I know people who take their kids out of public schools because of these thugs. The schools would not do anything to these thugs. Tell the teachers to deal with it. So they take what they can and then quit when they have had enough. This crap has to stop. Parents, you need to ask your child what is going on in their schools. Liberals hid stuff such as this, Barlow. Get a brain.
