Delaware Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Theft Suspect
Long Neck – The Delaware State Police is seeking the public's assistance in attempting to identify a theft suspect.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at approximately 6:58 p.m. in the parking lot of Weis Supermarket, located at 24832 John J. Williams Highway. The female depicted in the surveillance photo is suspected of finding a victim's wallet that was left behind in a shopping cart. Before discarding the wallet, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash and a prepaid gift card.

What a joke!! How the hell are you going to make finding a wallet left behind in a shopping cart a legitimate theft charge? Dishonesty yes but then please I hope you're going to charge the victim with negligence.

ReplyDeleteIt is a crime to take anything which does not belong to you. If you left your lawn mower out in your yard and someone happens to 'find' it and takes it, according to you guys, it is not theft because you left it there!
