ReplyDeleteDan Saterfield should be demoted to prophesying the weather at 1100 on Sunday nights. That way it’ll be a 50/50 chance he’ll get it right, and most of us will be asleep. Also WBOC should start reporting Maryland/Salisbury news, thursday night seemed like most of the newscast dealt with Delaware news. All in all since Mr. Draper went to the great tv station in the sky, the rest of the emploees seem bent on destroying any thought of creditable news being broadcasted by WBOC.
ReplyDeleteI’m work as a local non-media Meteorologist. This guy is an embarrassment. When the wind is northerly or northwesterly (e.g. not off the water), it doesn’t matter how warm the water is . This is basic meteorology . It’s called temperature advection and evaporative cooling. Terms you learn in freshman year when pursuing a meteorology degree. Sad!

ReplyDeleteOh come on people! All forecasters underestimated the amount of snow from this storm. Dan is not as bad as you say. All were saying 2-4 with 1-2 in OC. lets wait and see what really happens. 47 is now saying 5-11. Pretty wide range

ReplyDelete9:00, It would seem I have really pissed off WBOC. Wow, to wish someone DEAD. Even as a kid I could smell the rain coming, I always knew I wanted to be a meteorologist. I wonder why Dan didn't say a few days ago he could smell the snow coming then?I mean, why depend on computers if you can smell this coming. Pull my finger Dan, tell me what's coming next. LMAO
