I work for the state and I return back to work on Tuesday along with the rest of my family. Glad I don't live in the city of Salisbury. If I were paying city taxes, I would be pissed!
What's the difference if they have one day or two? The least time they're there f&&&ing up the City the better. Why not close them indefinitely until someone decent runs for office.
I think some places are closing the 25th and 26th because Christmas Eve is on a Sunday and they are giving employees an extra day to compensate for that day they would usually get off.
My work in the private sector has always given me two days off for Christmas; Christmas eve day and Christmas day. Except when I was in the Army, I've gotten those days off for the last 50 years. What is so unusual about that?
Federal offices only closed on Monday.
ReplyDeleteJake day doesn't mind giving away your money
ReplyDeleteHannukah???? Why?
ReplyDeleteIt's not leadership for him...its a popularity contest. I guess he skipped that day at Officer Candidate School.
ReplyDeleteTypical gov bs --they are supposed to be public servants not the other way around

ReplyDeleteIf they were only open (1) day a week it would be enough
ReplyDeleteThey'll be back roundabout Wednesday to continue planning the Folked Fest for the 'bury. Lucky us.

ReplyDeleteProbably had so many requests off that it made more sense to just give an extra day.
